The year certainly got off to a sad start with the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and the seven other passengers lost aboard the helicopter. The outpouring of love for those who perished was remarkable to see and it felt like time had stood still for a few minutes while the news was coming through. The one universal message that seemed to cross everyone minds as they discussed and remembered the lives lost was to never take anything for granted, tell your loved ones that you love them everyday and make peace with those you sometimes don’t get along with. It always seems in tragedy we reflect and through the passing of others we try a little harder to make things right in our life and in others. My wish is that we all do and realize that nothing is forever.
