a zona del puerto de Palma es desde hace años una de las mejores alternativas de la ciudad para comer o ir de tapas, quedar a tomar café o ir de copas por la noche con los amigos. Diferentes restaurantes y bares en primera línea del puerto y el mar, muchos de ellos renovados recientemente, brindan a los clientes unas magníficas vistas con las que disfrutar de tranquilos amaneceres, arrebatadoras puestas de sol y noches mágicas. En la zona de los Muelles Comerciales se erige el Varadero, uno de los lugares míticos sobre todo de las noches de verano, y desde cuya terraza se observa una magnífica vista de la Catedral y la bahía de Palma mientras se disfruta de sus magníficas tapas. Tapas igualmente deliciosas que las del Bar Pesquero, otro de los epicentros de la noche palmesana en verano, si bien en invierno su amplia terraza se llena de gente que observa las barcas de pescadores partir desde los aledaños de la lonja de pescado. Cocina tradicional, cócteles y servicios de take away son otros de los alicientes del Pesquero. Sobre el edificio mismo de la lonja de pescado se encuentra uno de los restaurantes con más solera de Palma, Can Eduardo, que desde 1943

Tapas and drinks in the port of Palma. For some years now Palma’s port area has been one of the best alternatives in the city for eating out or nibbling on tapas, going out for coffee with friends or for drinks at night. Different restaurants and bars set on the seafront of the port, many of which have been renovated recently, offer customers superb views and the chance to enjoy tranquil dawns, breathtaking sunsets and magical nights. In the Muelles Comerciales area we have the Varadero, one of the most mythical places, above all of summer nights, with a terrace that affords magnificent views of the cathedral and the bay of Palma as one enjoys its fantastic tapas. Equally delicious tapas are served in the Bar Pesquero, another epicentre of Palma’s summer nights, although in winter, too, its spacious terrace fills up with people watching the fishing boats leave from the area around the wholesale fish market. Traditional cuisine, cocktails and takeaway service are some more of the Pesquero’s attractions. One of the oldest restaurants in Palma, Can Eduardo, can be found above the wholesale fish market building (lonja de pescado) itself.
