LtG projects
ORGANIZED BY SYCAMORE SOUTH LTG SAMAIRA LEE
During the month of November, the Sycamore South Division embarked on a project to raise money for an organization that is extremely important to our communities: Riley Children’s Hospital. We all have a great appreciation for Riley as it has supported many of our friends, families, and classmates.

On Friday, November 18th, elementary schoolers celebrated PJs for Riley by wearing their favorite pajamas to school and by bringing in a donation of up to $1. Leading up to PJ Day, we provided information about Riley Children’s Hospital, why it is important to our community, and how together we can make a big impact while also having fun. The goal of our project was and has always been to help people at Riley Children's Hospital, and we are excited that this coincided with the opportunity to learn about service, leadership, and love for their community!

With all of that said, PJs for Riley raised $2,517.38 throughout four elementary schools: Fall Creek Elementary School, New Britton Elementary School, Thorpe Creek Elementary School, and Promise Road Elementary School. Each school contributed the following amounts:

Fall Creek: $814.00
New Britton: $661.58
Thorpe Creek: $609.88 Promise Road: $431.92
We are incredibly grateful that we were able to not only fundraise for the research and operations happening at Riley but also spread awareness for this organization. We find great pride in the support that was provided by all participating schools; without the help of my community’s youngest leaders, PJs for Riley would not have been successful.
