1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 (NIV) Whenever we talk about the month of February, we immediately think of love. We can't help but think of Valen琀椀ne's day, a box of chocolates and a big bouquet of flowers. However love is more than just about these momentary gi昀琀s we receive on this wonderful day or just about romance, there is more to it and we have all felt it.

In my opening paragraph I quoted a passage of scripture from the Bible because it captures the true essence of love. The passage shows characteris琀椀cs that we can exercise everyday towards our families, friends, work colleagues and even strangers.

These characteris琀椀cs seem very simple to follow, however allow me to ask you this?

Have you displayed pa琀椀ence today, on the road whilst you were driving to a specific loca琀椀on? Have you been kind to your family? Have you been prideful perhaps in your successes? Have you been selfish/self-seeking, constantly pu琀�ng yourself ahead of others?

When we ask ourselves these ques琀椀ons and take a moment to ponder on them, we start to realize that we may have lost the real meaning of love. My challenge to us this month is to show more of these traits/characteris琀椀cs of love every day to our immediate circles, stranger, people we wouldn't normally see or interact with on a daily basis, to the less fortunate people you may come across, to exercise more pa琀椀ence, more calmness, more goodness, more kindness, more honour because when we do this guess what?!

We all win because love never fails!

Love Week We are dedica琀椀ng the week between Valen琀椀nes Day to love those around us and spread the love within our areas

As Valen琀椀ne's Day approaches, many of us are gearing up for a celebra琀椀on of love that extends far beyond the tradi琀椀onal roman琀椀c gestures. This year, our company is embracing the spirit of Love Week, dedica琀椀ng the days leading up to Valen琀椀ne's Day to spreading love, kindness, and compassion to those who need it most.

In a departure from the usual candlelit dinners and bouquets of roses, we have chosen to focus on a more profound expression of love—reaching out to local care centres and making a tangible difference in the lives of those who are facing challenges.

The heart of Love Week lies in the simple act of giving. We have organized a series of events throughout the week, with a primary focus on distribu琀椀ng essen琀椀al items such as food, sandwiches, and drinks. By extending a helping hand to those in need, we hope to bring a ray of light into their lives and create las琀椀ng connec琀椀ons to those around us.

What We Love About Our Areas February is the month of love, which is why we asked our agents what they love most about the areas they live in.

Samantha Bissin I absolutely love the place I live in. I think it's a great area. The people are great, always friendly and smiling, lots of kids around, being cheerful and full of energy. The food is diverse, the smells of various curries, always makes you feel like you are home and I LOVE it. It'll always have my heart and always be my daughter’s and my home.

Joanne Chandar I currently reside in Chatsworth. I’ve lived here since the 琀椀me I was born, and my fondest memories were made here. From going to school, to coming home and gathering with all my neighbourhood friends and playing sport on our streets. Our area has been the place in our community where we rally together and closing our road on new years, having braai's and get togethers. I love where I live.
