The Curative Culture, Millennia of Efficacy

Omorovicza’s story stretches back over 2,000 to the first time the curative properties of the healing water of Hungary were observed and the first thermal baths were built. Since then, the thermal baths of Hungary have facilitated access to the region’s bountiful, healing waters.These waters have provided curative relief to bathers access millennia: from the improved scarring of Roman soldiers after times of war, to enhancing the youth and vitality of skin pilgrims from around the globe.

In the 19th century, the Omorovicza family built a beautiful thermal bath, the Rácz Fürdő, on the site of an Ottoman bath, itself erected in the 1560’s on top of a medieval healing spring famous for its curative properties.

This total body experience begins with a vigorous yet gentle brushing of the body to stimulate lymph circulation. A detoxifying exfoliator rich in orange blossom oil, Hungarian Moor mud and sea salt is then applied on the whole body, prior to a lathering deep cleansing mud mask.

While the body basks in this warm cocoon, the face savours a purifying treatment, which features a gentle exfoliation, a cleansing mask, the Signature Omorovicza Hungarian Facial Massage and a relaxing scalp massage. This luxurious ritual concludes with the application of a hydrational body cream to leave your skin supple and smooth.

Moor scrub treatment by Omorovicza

This purifying and detoxifying treatment starts with a full body exfoliation which features sea salt, Hungarian Moor mud and paprika, to refine the skin’s texture and leave it radiant and soft. Then the skin is nourished with our Vitamin A-rich body cream that hydrates and restores elasticity, protecting the skin from environmental damage.

Classic Hungarian Body Wrap by Omorovicza

More than an ordinary wrap treatment, this body experience begins with a vigorous exfoliation of the whole body to rid of the dead skin cells and prepare for further treatment. A deep cleansing and detoxifying mud mask is then lathered onto the body while the therapist performs a scalp massage to relieve tension or stress. This treatment concludes with a full body hydration and nourishment to restore youthful elasticity.

Cleansing and Balancing Facial

Mineral-rich Hungarian Moor mud detoxifies and draws out impurities for deep cleansing. The application of a fragrant Moor mud mask follows a thorough cleansing and exfoliation using the iconic Moor mud Cleansing Balm, as well as tropical fruit extracts, which treat sensitive skin and reduce pore size. The 60min treatment also includes a hand and arm treatment and the Signature Omorovicza Hungarian Facial massage which instantly lifts and firms the skin.

Gold Hydra-lifting Facial

This strengthening and hydrating treatment starts with the application of Hungarian Moor mud to cleanse, exfoliate and peel. A rose scented gold mask then deploys hyaluronic acid in three different forms to plump and nourish the skin while bio-available gold repairs micro-damage to strengthen the skin. The traditional Hungarian facial massage lifts and firms. A sprinkling of gold shimmer oil adds a subtle sparkle to arms and décolleté.

Finishing touches by Omorovicza

Hand treatment and manicure

This hand treatment includes a micro-exfoliation, the Golden mask and massage with products rich in Vitamin C and a white pepper extract known for stimulating microcirculation and promoting a healthy glow. This treatment eliminates dead skin cells, refines skin texture and reduces the appearance of sun spots.

Foot treatment and pedicure

This foot treatment begins with a golden sugar scrub to softer dry skin and continues with a stimulating enzyme mask and a massage that smooth and moisturise dehydrated skin.
