Where can I even begin to describe my love for Halloween?...
Until the age of 8 I wasn’t allowed to celebrate Halloween due to having a religious mother. However, after my parents broke up my dad took me trick or treating and my mind was blown! All I had as a costume at the time was a red jumper and a glowing pair of devil horns, and how time has changed.

Now I start celebrating on the 1st October (why can’t I when people celebrate Christmas for over a month!?)
It means so much to me as a person who was bullied for being different and weird. Halloween is the time of year to celebrate the ‘strange and unusual’. I love watching horror films and dressing up, there’s something great about being a little different and loving what most people see as just a day of the year to dress up and eat sweets.
This year sadly shall be different and not our normal Halloween, but my home is still decorated and I will be going to pumpkins patches!
