• Motorrad reservieren: online unter www.highbike-paznaun.com oder direkt vor Ort • Verleih: zwischen 8.00 und 10.30 Uhr kann das Motorrad vor Ort abgeholt werden. Vorausgesetzt wird der Besitz eines gültigen Führerscheins der Klasse A bzw. A2. Do you want to test the latest 2019 models by BMW, KTM, Yamaha and Kawasaki on all-day test rides through the Alps? Then you‘re in the right place in the High-Bike Testcenter Paznaun, the only cross-brand motorbike test centre!

Book motorbike: online on www.highbike-paznaun.com or locally Rentals: the motorbike can be picked up between 8:00 and 10:30. A valid Class A or A2 driving licence is required. Note: Discount for guests staying overnight in Paznaun (€ 80,- to € 100,- depending on category with Silvretta Card all inclusive; € 100,- to € 120 ,- without Silvretta Card all inclusive) Insurance: All motorbikes have third-party vehicle insurance and comprehensive insurance with a deductible of € 800,-. This deductible will be retained in cash or by credit card before the test ride.

Motorbike test rides: The „High-Bike Test Territory“ covers some 30 alpine passes and thousands of hairpin bends in Tirol, Switzerland, South Tirol and Bavaria.

Returns: the motorbikes can be returned between 16:30 and 19:00 at the Test Centre.

Juli 2019 gibt es mit drei Strecken auf drei verschiedenen Distanzen für jeden die richtige Herausforderung. Bereits am Vortag sorgt der Silvretta Kids Run für jede Menge Action. Auch 2019 gehen pro Teilnehmer € 5,- der Nenngebühr an die Stiftung Wings for Life.

Three routes – one finish No matter if beginner or pro-runner – the 8th Silvrettarun 3000 on 20th July 2019 has three routes of varying length, providing a suitable challenge for everyone. Already on the day before, the Silvretta Kids Run provides plenty of action. In 2019 once more, € 5,- of the entry fee per participant is donated to the charity Wings for Life.

DAS Mountainbike Highlight der Alpen für jedermann Vom 31. Juli - 03. August 2019 verwandelt sich Ischgl wieder in das Mountainbike Village der Alpen, wenn sich internationale Profis, Hobbybiker und Jungstars zum Ischgl Ironbike Festival versammeln. Highlight des Festivals ist der namensgebende Mountainbike Marathon, der legendäre Ischgl Ironbike, am 3. August 2019.

Hier können die Sportler aus drei Strecken in unterschiedlichen Schwierigkeitsstufen wählen: EASY (13 km), LIGHT (27,5 km), MEDIUM (48 km) oder HARD (79 km).

The highlight of the festival is the Mountainbike Marathon of the same name, the legendary Ischgl Ironbike, on 3rd August 2019. Here, athletes can choose between three routes of different levels of difficulty: EASY (13 km), LIGHT (27,5 km), MEDIUM (48 km) or HARD (79 km).

Silvretta Ferwall Marsch Woche 18. - 24. August 2019

Die Wanderveranstaltung für ALLE! Eine Woche voller Kultur, Bewegung und unberührter Natur erwartet Wanderbegeisterte vom 18. – 24. August 2019 bei der Silvretta Ferwall Marsch Woche in Tirols einzigem Luftkurort Galtür.

Für nur € 99,- können sich die Teilnehmer eine Woche lang an geführten Wanderungen mit lokalen Guides, Führungen im Alpinarium Galtür, Vorträgen und auch Genusswanderungen versuchen. In der Pauschale inkludiert ist auch die Startgebühr für den Silvretta Ferwall Marsch.

Highlight der Woche bleibt der legendäre 46. Internationale Silvretta Ferwall Marsch, am 24. August 2019.

Geeignet für alle Generationen bietet der internationale Volksmarsch die Wahl zwischen drei unterschiedlich langen Strecken – von der kinderwagentauglichen Familienstrecke bis zur ausdauernden „Königin“ mit 42,3 Kilometern auf 2.665 Metern Höhe. Unterwegs können die Teilnehmer auf der Heilbronner Hütte, der Friedrichshafener Hütte und der Lareinalpe pausieren und feine Köstlichkeiten aus der Region wie den Paznauner Almkäse und Speck probieren.

Silvretta Ferwall Walk Week 18th - 24th August 2019

The hiking event for EVERYONE! A week full of culture, exercise and pristine nature expects avid hiking fans from 18th – 24th August 2019 at the Silvretta Ferwall Walk Week in Galtür, Tirol‘s only climatic health-resort.

For only € 99,- entrants can try out guided hikes with local guides, guided tours in the Alpinarium Galtür, lectures and leisurely hikes for one whole week. The package also includes the entry fee for the Silvretta Ferwall Walk.

Highlight of the week remains the legendary 46th International Silvretta Ferwall Walk, on 24th August 2019. Suitable for all generations, the international people‘s march offers three routes of varying length to choose from – from the pram-friendly family route to the arduous „Queen“ with 42.3 kilometres at 2,665 meters altitude. Along the way, participants can take a break at the Heilbronner Hütte, the Friedrichshafener Hütte and the Lareinalpe to sample fine delicacies from the region such as Paznaun Alpine cheese and bacon.

Herbstfesttage See 07. – 21. September 2019

Wandergenuss à la carte Bunte Blätter, klare Luft, herbstliche Köstlichkeiten und wörtlich genommener Wandergenuss – in See hat man verstanden, was sich Genusswanderer im Herbst-Urlaub wünschen: Geführte Wanderungen zu den schönsten Plätzen im Paznaun, kulinarische Gaumenfreuden beim gemeinsamen Kochen mit der Bäuerin, über alte Schmugglerwege in die Schweiz wandern, Erlebniswanderung mit Kräuterkunde, die 70 m hohe Hängebrücke überqueren, Laternenwanderungen, Musikveranstaltungen, das traditionelle Almabtriebs-Fest und Tanzabende runden das abwechslungsreiche Programm ab. Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis stellt die kulinarische Runde durch See dar. Die Wanderung führt von einem Hotel zum anderen und bei jeder Einkehr gibt es kulinarische Hochgenüsse aus der Region.

25. Internationale Almkäseolympiade 28. September 2019

In Galtür können am 28. September 2019 Besucher olympisches Flair genießen. Bei der Internationalen Almkäseolympiade werden jedoch keine sportlichen, sondern kulinarische Höchstleistungen geboten – und das bereits zum 25. Mal. Sei dabei, wenn mehr als 150 Senner aus vier Ländern ihren handgemachten Käse einer mehrköpfigen Fachjury präsentieren. Ob hart, weich, mild oder nussig – Die Qualitätskriterien für die Teilnahme der Almkäseproduzenten sind streng. Die Jury bewertet Geschmack, Konsistenz, Aussehen, Regionalität der Zutaten und die Lochung der Käse. Wer jedoch auf ganzer Linie gewinnen will, muss auch den Geschmack der Kleinen treffen und eine Kinderjury überzeugen.

Sie vergibt den begehrten „Dreikäsehoch“.

Man muss jedoch kein Jurymitglied sein, um bei der Almkäseolympiade Kostproben zu ergattern: Von 11 bis 18 Uhr können alle Besucher im Sport- und Kulturzentrum Galtür eine Probe der gezeigten Schmankerln erhalten und käuflich erwerben.

25th International Alpine Cheese Olympics 28th September 2019

Visitors to Galtür can enjoy Olympic flair on 28th September 2019. But the International Alpine Cheese Olympics does not offer sports highlights, but culinary ones – and that for the 25th time. Don‘t miss out when more than 150 cheesemakers from four countries present their handmade cheese to the expert jury.

Whether hard, soft, mild or nutty – there are strict quality criteria governing participation by the Alpine cheese producers. The jury will primarily be assessing the flavour, texture, appearance, regionality of ingredients and hole structure of the cheese. But those who want to win all out also have to meet the taste of the younger ones and impress a jury of children. They are the ones who will be awarding the coveted ‘three cheese tall’ prize.

But you don‘t need to sit on the jury to get hold of some samples at the Alpine Cheese Olympics: From 11:00 to 18:00, all visitors to the Galtür sports and culture centre can get samples of the showcased treats and buy their own favourites.
