† MALE Michael W. Male, age 76, of Saranac, Michigan, passed away August 22, 2023. He was born on November 5, 1946, to Wesley and Pat Male of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Michael served in the US Navy during Vietnam from 1964-1967 and was one of the founders of the Michigan Antique Radio Club. He worked various jobs before hiring at Steelcase and retiring after 25 years. Michael married Rebecca Gray on November 12, 1993, after meeting at the Ionia Free Fair in 1971.
Surviving along with his wife are his sons, Christopher Chapman, and Michael (Hailey) Chapman; grandchildren, Beatrice, Paxton, and Remington; sister, Francis Vruggink and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Wilson. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. † MOORE Evelyn Louise Moore age 83 of Lowell, MI passed away January 15, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1939, in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Harrison and Evelyn (Linz) Walls. Evelyn married Charlie Moore in November of 1957.
Surviving are her grandchildren Keith Moore Jr. of Pennsylvania, Brittany (Brad) Meyers of Pennsylvania, and Dylan Moore of Pennsylvania; brother Harrison (Sue) Walls Jr. of Holly Grove, Arkansas; daughter-in-law Laura Moore of Pennsylvania; sister-in-law Mayillien Bartosh of Saranac; brothers-in-law Gary (Rose) Moore of Hastings and Dan (Barb) Moore of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Charlie and sons Mike Moore and Keith Moore. † POTTER Donna Jane Potter age 80, of Lowell, MI passed away August 23, 2023. She was born on October 22, 1942 in Keene Township, MI, the daughter of Paul and Maxine (Dean) Potter. Donna graduated from Saranac High School, Class of 1961. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed her birds.
Surviving are her brother, Bradley (Judith) Potter of Lowell; nieces and nephew, Dawn Potter of Lowell and Joy (Mike) Stevens of Dewitt; great niece and nephews, Arielle (Alan) Milano-League of Dewitt and Robert Milano II of Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
