Ain Aar Gymnasium Reborn: From Vision to Reality The opening of the new Ain Aar gymnasium is not just the unveiling of a cutting-edge facility, it is the continuation of a legacy. For decades, the old gymnasium stood as a witness to countless memories: the echoes of laughter, the triumphs of victories, the lessons of defeats, and the moments where champions were made. Its walls carried the spirit of generations who grew, played, and discovered themselves within its space. Today, those same walls rise again, renewed, transformed, and reimagined. From vision to reality, the Ain Aar gymnasium is reborn, carrying the stories of yesterday into the possibilities of tomorrow. Old walls, new dreams: it now stands as the first of its kind in Lebanon, a benchmark of design, innovation, and sustainability. With every detail, from the advanced materials to the breathtaking sea view that frames its vast windows, the new gymnasium embodies resilience and aspiration. And fittingly, the first to step onto the court were the Ain Aar alumni athletes, now Ras Beirut students, who once played their hearts out in the old gym. They scored the
very first basket in this new facility, a powerful moment that bridged memory and renewal. Their shot echoed with nostalgia, honoring the past, while at the same time ushering in a new era of play, growth, and achievement. This is more than a sports facility. It is a home for athletes, a haven for students, and a gathering place for a community that believes in the power of sport to shape character and leadership. As part of the inauguration, the IC community expressed its deep gratitude to Vice Chairman Imad Taher, whose steadfast support was instrumental in bringing this project to life. He was honored with a special gift, a token of appreciation that symbolized not only his role in making the gymnasium a reality, but also the lasting impact this facility will have on generations of students to come. The Ain Aar gymnasium stands tall once more, honoring its past, inspiring the present, and opening a horizon of limitless futures for IC students.
