Garren Lankford relieved him. Howe then beat S&S in game two, 9-0. Lankford threw a onehit complete game striking out 15 Rams. First baseman Beau Stephens hit a homerun into Hash Field and Lowder had a double off the fence and a triple into the right field corner. Braden Ulmer hit two doubles and David Grant had a double to the fence. In game three, Howe lost the wild one to Whitesboro, 11-10 where Lowder got the start on the mound and struck out 12 Bearcat hitters. He was relieved by Ulmer in the middle of the game.
