Guangzhou Set on the banks of the Pearl River, Guangzhou is one of the bigger cites in China and is home to China’s biggest trade fair – the biannual Canton Fair. This private tour includes the Sun Yat Sen’s Memorial Hall – a monument to Dr Sun Yat-sen, the forerunner of the Chinese democratic revolution, the SixBanyan Temple originally built in 537AD and famous for its flower pagoda as well as the Chen Clan’s Academy, which served as a temple for ancestor worship and a residence for Chen descendants who travelled to Guangzhou for their imperial examinations. Lunch is included before you are transferred back to your hotel.

An evening cruise on the Pearl River is one of the highlights of a visit to Guangzhou. The city’s skyline at night is a visual feast of light and colour and offers a different, colourful perspective.
