Just a 45 minute flight from Rarotonga it’s possible to visit Aitutaki on a day trip however we recommend you stay at least two nights to soak up the beautiful surroundings and really get a feel for this little piece of paradise. Hire a bike and explore the deserted beaches, tiny villages and white washed churches!

Swim with schools of tropical fish in the lagoon, luxuriate in the sand under a palm tree and eat freshly caught barbecued fish. If you are visiting over the weekend we also highly recommend you pop into the markets on a Saturday at Arutanga Wharf where you will see a hype of activity with locals and tourists alike. Purchase that colourful sarong, indulge in the fresh produce or pick up a souvenir to take back home.
