零一零 年展以 「角。II Jiaoÿÿ 為題 ， ÿJiaoÿ 是 「角」的國 語拼音 ，我 們透過 一個不 同的拼音系統 來表達 「角度」 這 個意念 ，藉以 啟發人 們以多 角度觀 察事物 和思考 。為 配合是 次主題 ，我們特 意設計 了多個 不同的 一 「角」字， 讓 公眾可 從不同角度觀 察字體 的變化 ，及 ?此產生不同的聯想 。

我們每 人都有 自己認同的一 套文化 和信仰 ，物質 固有的 本義是 難以被 其他事 物取締 。透 過這課 以主 觀及客 觀的角 度去界 定及分 析問題 ，從而 提供最 佳的解 程 ，我 們學會 從設計 者的觀 感出發 ， 決方案 來迎合 使用者 的需求 。 這 課程令 我們明 白到設計的深 層意義 ，就 是將個 人的主 觀思維 結合大 眾的客 觀觀感 ，再從 客觀的 我們的 角色正 是發掘 分析 演化至 主觀的 設計解 決方案 。設計 的誕生 在於解 決問題 ，作為 設計師 ， 問題 的根源 ，從 不同角 度觀察 ，配合多 向性的思維方式找出 解決問 題的最 佳方案 。

俗語? ： 「太陽底下無 新事」 ，但這並不 代表所 有事物 均一成 不變， 要打造 出成功 的設計 方案， 關鍵在於我們 如何闡 釋問題 ，以及能否從不 同角度 ，將設 計意念 轉化成 公眾明 白的視覺語言 。

pinyin of the word "perspective" in Mandarin, captures the main theme of the Bachelor of Arts in Applied and Media Arts Annual Exhibition 2010. A different transcription system is used to present the concept of "different perspectives" - to inspire people to learn, to observe and to think through taking different points of view.

To tie in with the theme, a special graphic design has been applied to the word "Jiao" in Chinese character allowing people to perceive the character in different angles and showing different images according to their own interpretations As everyone is attached to his/her own culture and beliefs, the essence of materials may not be retouched because of their nature of existence. What we have learnt from the programme is that, as a designer, we should have critical thinking and analytical ability in both subjective and objective ways to address the needs of the users.

The programme also enables students to better understand the process of design from subjective individual ideas to objective public acceptance, and how both interact with designer's personal style and point of view The Cantonese saying goes, "There is nothing new under the sun crux of working out a design solution is how we could engage our creativity to perceive the issues and transform ideas into visual images, again, with different perspectives.

his year marks the 5 Annual Exhibition of the BA in Applied and Media Arts programme. It is the time to celebrate the great works produced by our students.

This year's theme is “角01 Jiao°". At first, audiences may not understand what the title is referring. This is probably the most intriguing part of the overall concept. Indeed, it is the exact strategy the organizing committee intended to promote: to intrigue the audiences. Many people believe that imagination is more powerful than knowledge. We expect the audiences to use their imaginations to interpret the theme, “角0I Jiao°", in any possible way. Could it be regarded as angle, degree, corner, point, edge, horn, or something even more wild and unexpected?

So go ahead! Use your imagination! I believe it is going to be a fun and rewarding experience.

Finally, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to all the teaching and administrative staffs of the programme. Once again, I would like to congratulate the BAAMA students on achieving this important milestone and wish them all the very best for the future.

it is a word being abusively used nowadays. We, both teachers and students, know well that it is what we have all been striving hard to achieve, even though there is no guarantee of success.

capability of observing daily life problems is one of the major tasks for creative designer, while the value of creative thinking and good design depends on their creative focus and knowledge they have acquired. As such idea, designer is a knowledge agent that can facilitate to developing product and business innovations. They are also significant contributors to creative industries.

This year, our design graduates conceptualized the annual exhibition topic as “角0 I Jiao°", that is exactly demonstrating the savvy and deep down meaning of "creative focus" and "knowledge acquired" suggestions. Defining a design problem needs to be ambitious and focused, that reflects designer's observation capability for an arguable opinion. With the help of knowledge from different perspectives or contexts, it could enrich designer's viewpoints, and legitimate the design intent towards public acceptance.

I sincerely hope that our design graduates, the young conceptual thinkers, will inspire audiences in the exhibition and enlighten the creative industries in near future.

Hong Kong's Ukiyoe II 香港的 浮世繪 Ukiyoe, an unique style of Japanese traditional drawing, depicts the contemporary life style in Japan starting from Edo period. The Japanese life style at that moment was similar to what we have today in Hong Kong, such as addiction of materialism and various forms of amusement.

The similarity of this social phenomenon has aroused my interest and turned into the subject of my project, which focuses on the combination and exploration of the new perspective of both the Ukiyoe and Hong Kong typical life style today. 浮 世繪是 一種日 本的傳 統畫風 ，背後 的概念 是將當 代現世 的人和 事用作 畫來將 之記錄 o 畫 風出現 的時代 ：江 戶時代 ，當 時的日 本人和 現今的 香港人 都有相 近的生 活態度 ，就是 肯花錢 在不同 的娛樂 消費上 。而 這種及 時行樂 的生活 態度上 的類同 ，促成 這個作 品的誕 這是 融合了 日本獨特的傳 統文化 與香港 現今的 物質生 活的一 個紀錄 o 生。

Young listeners' tissue II 傾計 紙巾 Many young people suffer from emotional disturbance in Hong Kong. They used to chat with friends when they suffer from emotional disturbance. They chat via MSN, SMS, phones and face-to-face. Psychologists suggest that expressing emotions help them to manage emotions. And it is also believed that expressive chat between youths can improve their emotional management. However, expressive chat between youths is not common and it is also difficult as they are usually not capable will always find no way to help someone who is suffered from emotional disturbance. While some books and courses are available to educate the youths, most of them do not have the opportunity to practice the skills. Therefore, redesign of a daily product is a better way to learn and practice at the same time when chatting with friends. Among the typical daily products, tissue was adopted as the core medium under this project.

。心理學 家認為 ，青少年 透過傾 談表達 情感可 以幫助 他們管 理情緒 。雖然一 般青少 年當受 到情緒 困擾時 會透過 MSN 、短信 、電話 和約 會與朋 友傾談 ，但是 ，大 部份的 青少年 開解朋 友的方 法不當 ，除 難以幫 助朋友 走出情 緒 的低谷 ，甚 至令情 況惡化 。?此可見 ，教育青 少年如 何開解 朋友是 必需的 。

跟 據研究 許多香 港青少 年受到 不同程 度的情 緒困擾

其實 ，市面也 有書籍 和課堂 教育青 少年開 解朋友 的方法 ，可 是青少 年往往 未能融 會貫通 ， 無 法實踐 。因此 ，重新設計青 少年隨 身產品 ，當 場提醒 和教育 他們引 導受情 緒困擾 的朋友 表 達情感 ，改善情緒管 理是較 為可行 的方法 。 紙巾因 而成為 其中一 個理想 的工具 。

Ugly Duckling Story II 讀寫 醜小鴨 The project aims to draw the public's attention to the phenomenon of dyslexia suffered by a number of Hong Kong children. Since many teachers and parents have inadequate knowledge, or even improper attitude about dyslexia., they may have misunderstandings coping with the dyslexia children.

The concept of the artwork comes from the famous fairy tale of The Ugly Duckling.

This project portrays the dyslexia children as the ugly ducklings as they are also different from others at the beginning, but they will be turning into swans with some kinds of achievements at last. The concept of this artwork is to encourage the parents to appreciate and support their dyslexia children. Through the interactive interface, the audiences can acquire the proper knowledge of dyslexia. 讀寫醜 小鴨是 一個關 於香港 讀寫障 礙兒童 的作品 ，近 年來讀 寫障礙 這個問 題已日 漸受社 會關注 ，由於很 多人對 於讀寫 障礙並 不了解 ，患上 讀寫障 礙的兒 童很多 時候都 被誤解 ； 這個 作品意 另 一方面 ，教師 、家長 對讀寫 障礙欠 缺認識 ，往往不 能在教 學上作 出配合 。 念由童 話故事 醜小鴨 而出發 ，作 品意念 是讓觀 眾透過 互動作 品對讀 寫障礙 有親身 的經歷 及更深 的了解 ，從 而明白 讀礙其 實是一 份天賦 的禮物 ，讓孩 子如醜 小鴨般 ，經過 磨練後 成材。

Bamboo or Fish?

Worshiping Western // 崇洋 Although China has become more influential nowadays, I'm still distressed to learn that it is merely a consequence of the westernization. It implies an adoption of the western culture but the abandon of ours. There is nothing worth celebrating as China becomes the world factory but mainly serves for those western markets. We may say China is now strong enough to complete with the US, but it is only on the economic front. In the perspective of humanity, the sense of self-respect is still weak among Chinese. There is no doubt that some people in China will become richer and richer, however their fortune will only make them worship the western culture more blindly without realizing what they have adopted could be seriously wrong.

This is a story to depict the social phenomenon of worshipping western culture in China, which aims to arouse our concerns of how it would cause disrespect to our own culture.

The objective of this animated piece is to remind us that we should respect our own culture and be proud of it. By doing so, we could then treat all the people in the world fairly and respectively. 這作 品想帶 出的意 現 時一般 中國人 對西洋 文化推 崇備至 ，反 而對自 己文化 看得一 文不值 。 念是 ：每個 人應打 破文化 的區別 與歧視 ，除應尊 重自己 的文化 ，更 應尊重 其他不 同文化 。 無 疑中國 現時在 世界經 濟方面 佔有領 導地位 ，可惜在 人民個 人思維 上卻相 對落後 。我們盲 目跟隨西 方文化 ，但如 果西方 文化有 不妥當 的地方 ，我們是 否也全 盤接受 ？在中國 ，爭取 人權 利的模 式也不 一定與 西方社 會的一 套相同 。中國 的佛教 和儒家 學?由 來已久 ，是一套

教 我們辨別是非 ，改善個 人心態 的學問 。但我們 的社會 環境和 教育體 制只令 我們講 求獲取 金錢 和利益 ，卻諷刺 地將這 套教導 我們培 養良好 品格的 學?拋 諸腦後 ，學 校灌輸 的知識 ， 不 在於個 人品格 的培育 ，而在 於賺錢 的方法 ，實在令 人嘆息 。這 作品帶 有諷刺 的意念 ，當 中竹代表中 國一些 有價值 的文化 或觀念 ，但偏 偏被我 們忽視 ；我們只 看到別 人的好 ，不懂 珍惜 自己所擁有的 好東西 ，反過來 別人還 懂得欣 賞我們 。藉 此作品 ，希望大 家能重 視自己 的文化 ，再 進一步 ，但 願大家 能做到 一 不 分你我 ，世 界大同 。

Even though there is no real jungle in Hong Kong, "Concrete jungle" is still a term commonly used to describe the city. The British colonial administration has a profound impact in Hong Kong throughout the years, of which the development of economy has been strongly emphasized. Economical factors always prevail over the historical, cultural and environmental ones. We, the new generation of Hong Kong with no responsibility to our history, have neither treated our environment well, nor noticed the hazardous impact on our health induced by urban development .

This project shows the relationship between the development of Victoria Harbour and its impact on our well being. The installation shows the historical change of the Victoria Harbour via a sequential images and the way it affects our health using bellow camera as a media. People can interact with the installation. They can experience and explore the causes and effects of the urban development. 香港 一度是 英國的 殖民地 ，雖然 回歸祖 國已久 ，但 殖民地 時代遺 留下來 的影響 深遠 ，其中 經濟發 展早已 成了香 港的主 要命脈 ，大 部份的 決策總 是和金 錢掛夠 。 不 論歷史 、文化， 、環 境等價 值是如 何重要 ，在 經濟因 素面前 往往要 靠邊站 。 作 為香港 新一代 ，我們 從沒有 為歷史 負上任 何責任 ，更 沒有善 待我們 的環境 。 經濟 發展雖 然為社 香港 天然的 海港在 世界聞 名已久 ，她是 香港人生活文化的重 要部份 。 會 帶來不 少好處 ，但人們 卻往往 忽略了 它對海 港的破 壞程度 ，如何損 害我們 的健康 。

本 作品是 一件互 動裝置 藝術品 ，除展示維港從 古至今 的變遷 ，更 透過影 像訴?經濟發 展對 環境帶 來的負 面影響 。參 與者可 接觸作 品並從 中感受維港變 遷對我 們健康 帶來的 影響。

A project about our CITY // 幻 想城市 There are too many ways that people can get information on the street. People didn't have enough time and patience to digest those information and message. It may bring about indifference among people towards their surroundings.

I have created a visual book, which suggests different ways to let people to appreciate the city and understand more of the city fabric. It also inspires the readers to search for the aesthetics of city and to take on more imaginative stance in life. 現今的 社會資 訊發達 ，有過 多的資 訊要我 們汲收 。 然而 ，我們 並沒有 耐性和 太多的 時間把 它們全 部汲收 和消化 。 我們 拒絕接 收外界 的資訊 ，最後 ，這 個舉動 卻變成 反效果 。 我們與 社 會疏離 ，無 視身邊 的環境 ，忽視 了城市 的美感 。

我藉著 此現象 設計了 一本書 ，提 議人們 用不同 的方法 欣賞這 個城市 加 一點想像才會 發現的 。

Today there are more than 200,000 dogs living with us in Hong Kong and the number is still increasing. Despite of their popularity, dogs are being forbidden in most of the public places in the city, why?

Many people may think that dogs are trouble-makers, so it is necessary for us to stop them from entering into our living environment. However, it causes dogs to misbehave and become a nuisance. However, we are also creating problems to the dogs by ignoring their needs at all. In my opinion, the best solution is to provide them with more facilities and space.

Therefore, my project is to design a conceptual shopping mall ideal for dogs to come along to enjoy shopping with their owners. It is also for non-dog owner to realize that a little modification in facilities can ease most of dog problems and we all can live happily together. 香 港現已 有超過 二十萬頭狗隻 ，而這 數字仍 在不斷 上升中 。 儘 管如此 ，市 內大部份場地 及設施 都是禁 止狗隻 使用的 ，為 什麼? 我認為 ，香 港作為 一個文 明社會 ，應 該注意 到人類 最好 的朋友 一 狗隻 的需要 ，解決 方法應是多給 牠們一 些設施 及空間 。因此 ，希 望透過 今次 的作品 - 狗商場 的概念 ，能讓 狗隻隨 主人自 ?地進 出商場 。 只需小 量設施 的改動 ， 就能 讓狗隻 和主人 ，以及其 他人， 和 諧共處 。

Cyclife // “Our body is built to move about, not to hold still. “ Hong Kong adolescents are now engaged in a sedentary lifestyle with a long sitting time and inadequate physical activity. It can lead to Sedentary Death Syndrome, "SeDS," and increase the risk of heart attack, cancer, depression, and so on. In fact, these diseases can be prevented if we move about.

Our everyday objects, the frequent use of objects including keyboard and mouse, limits our body movement since only hands and fingers interact with the computer. The objective of this project is to improve the sedentary lifestyle of Hong Kong adolescents especially for those university students. It aims to change the usual practice of using computer to a healthy lifestyle.

As cycling is one of physical activity in Olympics competition, it promotes our health on metabolic fitness and cardiovascular fitness. "Cyclife" is a cycling device, which replaces the function of mouse and generates renewable energy to the computer. 香港年 輕人長 期玩電 子遊戲 、上網 、又或安 坐家中 看電視 ，長期 久坐缺 少運動 ，容 易使人 患上 不活動 或不運 動死亡 症候群 （簡稱 SeDS ) ，從而? 加罹患 心臟病 、癌症 、抑 鬱症等 我們 現今經 常使用 的風險 。可是 ，我們只 要有適 當的身體活動 ，這 種疾病 是可以 避免的 。 電腦 ，但使用 時只會 運用到手及手 指去控制鍵盤 及滑鼠 ，毋須 進行全 身活動 ，從而 影響健 康 。針對這 個現象 ，本作品 務求改 善香港 大學生 日常使用電腦 的模式 ，使其 成為一 個健康 的習慣 ，改 善新陳 代謝和 心血管 的健康 。

Fome II The lifestyles of people living in the city are constrained by the surrounding social and technical system and robotic living pattern. These almost cause the people to forget the possibility of changing. This project is an inspiration to arouse people's interest about the possibility of "self-controllable" lifestyle as well as the search of ideal livings.

"fome" as a conceptual brand, it is against the current standardized daily-life experience. It aims to inspire people to initiate changes from the starting place of everyday, "lattice" is a furniture design concept. It redefines a new surface concept to present the high variations on product appearance and function. It is available for users to construct and reconstruct customized furniture based on individual ideas to match with one's own "self-controllable" lifestyle. 城市人 多被社 會與科 技約束 著原本 屬於個 人的生 活方式 ，機械 式的生 活模式 ，急 速的生 活節奏 ，幾乎叫 人忘卻 了作出 改變的 可能性 。此作品 目的為喚醒大 眾思考 「自我控制」 生活 方式的 可能性 ，再而找 尋屬於 自己的理想生 活模式 。

家具概 念品牌 ÿomeÿ 對抗 著公式化的生 活體驗 ，鼓勵大 眾從每 天的出 發點開 始作出 改變 。ÿlatticeÿ 以從 新定義 「面」的概念 ，來展現 存有高 度外觀 和功能 變化的 概念家 具 ，讓 用者隨 意打造 真正屬於自己 的家具 來配合 「自我控制」 的生 活方式 。

Internet Addiction II This product name is "Webear" which is a family game about internet. It can improve the relationship in family on the internet addiction problem. Parents and kids need to play an internet flash game to get the instructions of making the own bear. The reason for this is to encourage the communication between kids and parents. 本作 品名為“Webear" ，是一種 親子遊 戲產品 ，能 幫助家 長處理 子女上 網成癮 的問題 ，使 親 子關係 更融洽 。家長 及子女 可透過 網上遊 戲取得 布公仔 的砌圖 ，然 後一起 合作製 作布公 仔 ，在 過程中家長能 利用特 製的網 上遊戲 ，教導 子女上 網的正 確態度 。

Child's brain exhibition II Lots of parents may have said something like this before, "We'll try our best to give our children the best! “However, what does it means "the best"? Is it derived from the children's point of view? Or is it simply based on the parents' set of values? This installation with a surrealistic approach, provides a chance for the audience to look into the children's mind, in order to have a better understanding of their needs, hence they can really "give their children the best!". 相信大 部份的 父母都曾?過 ： 「我要給孩 子最好 的東西 ！」，但何 謂最好 ？是從孩 子的角 度出 發？或 這所謂 「最好的」 只 是按成 年人的 價值觀 而釐訂 ？這項裝置藝 術品利 用混合 媒介 ，以 超現實 的手法 ，讓 觀眾進 入小朋 友的腦 ，直接看 到腦中 的情怳 ，從而讓 父母思 考所做 的一切 ，是否孩 子們真 正所需 。

Esteem Royal School // 至 尊高校 A Game of Self-Esteem

Self-esteem is one of the popular topics in the society lately. There are lots of social problems suggesting that self-esteem is one of the major causes of how a person react and behave within the society and individual retreat.

Self-esteem is the essential core element of human indicator to gauge the quality of a person and his or her relationships with other people. Human beings are motivated to preserve, protect and respect. Raising self-esteem could benefit in psychological well being and suppress human's desirable changes behavior. Therefore, self-esteem is a basic human need as the survival value.

"Esteem Royal School" is a game of measuring system to let the audience knows about the implicit and explicit self-esteem. "Implicit" is what audiences' true behaviors, "Explicit" is what they think they were. In other words, that means what they think is not equal to what they behave unconsciously. Through this game experience, it helps the audiences to realize their implicit self-esteem as reference. 自尊心是現今 社會一 個流行 的課題 。 社會 上普遍 認為自 尊心是 引起眾 多社會 問題的 主要關 這 ?明了自尊心是人的 素質及 心理的 一種量 度標準 。人的 鍵 ，特別是 人的心 理及行 為模式 。 推動力及 自尊是提升個 人心理 和平衡 人的慾 望的元素之一 。所 以自尊 心對人 們是很 重要的 。 至尊 高校是 一個測 試自尊 心的遊 戲平台 。 透過這 平台能 讓人們 明白人 分別有 內在和 外在兩 種自尊 的特質 。內在 就是人 性的真 實心態 ，外在就 是人們 認為自 己所想 的心態 ，兩 者存在 一定 的差異 ，亦 即是? ，人類 所想和 他們真 實的不 自覺行為是有 所不同 。 透過 這遊戲 ，可 以令 參與者 意會到 他們的 真實自尊心態 作為個 人參考 。

Too Clean II Due to a number of new virus found, people have been advised to pay more attention to personal hygiene. Therefore cleaning and sterilization are carried out thoroughly and extensively in order to create a germ-free living environment. However, these efforts to prevent us from virus are futile, while they may even weaken our resistance and immune system as a result. We may be much easier to suffer from illness as cons6qu6 ?C6.

Like the military troops, our resistance and immune system need to be trained. In that case, germs and virus are occasionally good for us as they can strengthen our immune system. So sometimes it is not a bad thing to get sick, otherwise, our bodies will be easily defeated when confronting the new virus.

This project has 3 books to show how people "too clean" in their daily life, and also record some knowledge about germs. Hope people through the artwork can understand that "too clean" is unnecessary. 近年 有很多 新的病 毒出現 ，使人 不斷使 用消毒 用品去 清潔家 居及周 邊環境 ，務求 製造出 其實 ，這樣 無法真 正幫助 你去遠 離病毒 ，甚 至會令 你的抵 抗力及 免疫力 一個無 菌環境 。 下 降而更 易生病

其 實抵抗 力和免 疫力好 像軍隊 一樣需 要訓練 。有時 我們的 身體需 要一些 細菌或 病毒入 侵 ，讓我 們的抵 抗力和 免疫力 有演習 的機會 ，為我們 產生病 毒抗體 ” 這件作 品中有三本書 ，書中 不但記 錄了香 港人日 常生活 中如何 ” too clean" ，也介 紹一些 有 關細菌或病毒 的知識 ，希 望透過 這件作 品令大 家明白 ” too clean" 是不 必要的 。

From People on Rooftop II 留頂上 Documentary (15 minutes) Nowadays, people always have lots of things to see, to learn, to know and lots of places to go. In a non-stop flowing information network, it causes people get very busy in their city life. Sometimes, people are overwhelmed because of the flooding of information and knowledge from the mass media.

"Rooftop" is a place on the top of every building in city. It is one of the neglected spaces in Hong Kong. Some people would go there occasionally. It is a special space that shares different meanings and values among different people and the cities.

Through the documentary style approach, the director had conducted extensive interviews with different people from the rooftop. It intends to explore the meaning of this special space in our city. 紀錄片 1 5 分鐘 現今 社會資 訊發達 ，人們能 夠認識 、學習 、嘹解很多東 西及到 達很多 的地方 ，?於信息和 知識過 份汜濫 ，社 會出現 資訊不 斷流動 的網絡 ，身處城 市當中 ，人 的生活 變得越 來越繁 忙 ，也越來 越複雜 。

婁頂」 ，樓宇 的頂部 ，是每座 都市建 築物也 會擁有 的空間 ，在香港 ，這些 空間卻 往往被 1 我 們忽視 。偶然間 一些人 也會到 樓頂去 ，於 不同的 人和城 市之間 ，它 們是一 個擁有 著不同 的 含意和 價值觀 念的特 殊空間 。 這部 紀錄片 正正想 觸及這 種關係 和意義 ，從 導演與受訪者 於樓頂 上重新拍攝的 紀錄片 ，就如由 不同的 人在屋 頂上相 互傳達 著不同 的訊息 。

ripples // 漣漪 Video Installation 5m x 5m x 2.5m 24 minutes Using the special click between releasing emotions and clouds' ecosystem, people will be immerged into a poetic environment for story exchange. In addition to create a 'space' that people could stay and think, this project also highlights that all visitors, being reminded by their own presence, are under one boundless sky - there might be another person feel the same as you do. The freedom of interpretation and the interaction between interviewees make this project more sentimental and personal.

Sky and clouds are the natural scenery most living creatures on earth can share in common. In many of the modern cities, it is impossible for us to see the whole sky other than a sky 'cropped' by high rise buildings. Therefore one of the objectives in my final work is to create a ‘frameless window' - letting visitors have the entire sky in view. This piece of work is named "ripples" as it gathers memories and emotions of the interviewees. 映 像裝置

天空 與雲是 我們抬 頭就可 欣賞到 的景物 ，但隨著 城市發 展迅速 ，城市 人只能 看見被 高樓大 廈 切割成 多角型 的天空 ，本作品 目的之一是打 造一個 沒有框架的窗 讓訪者能將整 個天空 盡收 於眼底 。 作 品收集 了不同人士以 及訪者 的記憶 和情感 ，因此以 ÿripples (鍵漪)」為名

Invade II侵略 The video installationwork "Invade" is made up of 2 groups of 6 adjacent iMac monitors setup in a silvery-plastic-wrapped room. A group of monitors facing the other group oppositely, forming a corridor that is surrounded by video imagery displayed on the monitors in the center of the room. Audience is invited to experience a materialized ego trip of the artist. Where self-struggle and self-doubt is visualized into the moving image on display. The video on display is made up of a series of manipulated selfportrait of the artist, in which the artist deliberately distorted the realistic photographic images into a biological imagery that resembles the process of cell division. With the low-pitch, wailing-like background music that resulted from a remixed human singing voice, and the barely recognizable self-portrait, the whole installation gives a sense of privacy and mysterious yet inviting quality. 多媒體 是什麼 ？科 技令人 類進步 ？居 住在這 時代的 年青人 怎樣面 對世間 的轉變 ？年青人 不安 、 看不 清未來 、感覺無 論怎樣 努力也 是徒然 的感覺 ，需要一 個出口 。同時 ，我相信 在這 世界有 與我相 同的人 ，我們 同樣需要支持 ，需 要激勵 。我用一 年時間 去構思 「變」 這 個主題 ，作品 以兩排 ，每 排六部 iMac電 腦組成 ，設置 於長方 形銀色 鏡面反 射空間 。裝 載著自觀反射 拍攝出 的影像 ，配 以人聲 混合而 成的低 音聲響 ， 流動的 液態影 像轉變 ，細 胞 分裂般 的活動 ，緩慢 的速度 。
