EXCITING PROGRAMS
Comic Creators
March 3rd at 4-6 pm This series will walk you through comic creation basics from top to bottom.
Teen Yoga
March 9th & 23rd at 3-4 pm Unwind with yoga. Yoga mats provided, but feel free to bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing.
Teen Theater Thursday
March 13th at 4-5 pm This program will focus on teaching the performing arts to aspiring teen thespians with assistance from the Red Mountain Theatre.
Studio Teen: Film Club
March 21st at 1-2 pm Make a short film in this series of classes, from writing a screenplay, filming, editing, and all the way to some basic special effects!
STUDENT ART CONTEST
SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED TILL MARCH 31ST
Pieces must be exhibition ready and weigh less than 50lbs.Artwork will be judged by a panel of local artists with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners selected for various grade categories. Due to the limited space, not all artworks will be selected for the display. Entry forms can be downloaded at Homewoodpubliclibrary.org
ACT WEEKEND WORKSHOP
MARCH 22ND & 23RD
This two-day ACT weekend workshop will help prepare them with content prep and a practice test. Students will need to bring a notebook or laptop, pencil, calculator, and bottled beverage/snack. $40 per teen. A pizza lunch is included on Saturday.
