Momoko Abe is a children’s book illustrator but has penned a couple picture books herself. Momoko is from Japan and lives in London now. She’s drawn particularly to illustrating animals and food as you see in some of the titles above such as “Avocado Asks” and “Pearl and her Bunch”. Momoko Abe’s illustrations are bright and uses fun colors. In 2021, she won the Sparks Kingston & Richmond Children’s Book Award. Be sure to check out one of her books next time you’re at the library.
