Editorial As some had predicted, Covid-19′s second wave will come in the form of a more aggressive attack. That same prediction, which was naturally the last thing people wanted to hear, fortunately had many of us now better prepared than ever on how to cope and move on with our lives as best we can while the virus is still present in the community. At Homes of Quality, we too have been adhering to a very strict protocol to ensure our consultants, buyers and vendors can keep operating, buying and selling homes in the safest way possible. Face masks, hand sanitizer, disposable shoe covers and respect towards the rules of distancing oneself from another are now the basic standards of all our operations. Certainly, these measures that we have adopted present some level of discomfort or even inconvenience, but in the grander scheme of things they are a small pill to swallow in exchange for the safety and precaution levels they offer. Given the now accepted fact that this pandemic will be with us for months to come, we encourage all our clients, both buyers and vendors, to follow the health authority's guidelines and take good care of themselves and those around them. We assure you that we will be doing that and more and we truly appreciate your reciprocal approach. OMEGA launches the Spe “Silver Snoopy Award” 50th In 1970, OMEGA received the coveted “Silver Snoopy Award” from the astronauts at NASA, recognising the brand’s unique contributions to space exploration, as well as the Speedmaster’s vital support during the rescue of Apollo 13.

Exactly 50 years later, a special timepiece has been created in the occasion’s honour. Combining animation with watchmaking art, this incredible Snoopy tribute has taken the OMEGA Speedmaster to new realms of design.

Here, he is shown wearing his famous spacesuit, in the exact style of the silver pin that NASA astronauts give to award recipients.
