2025 KMSB YOUTH INTERNATIONAL GRYPHON CUP
SPONSORSHIP PROSPECTUS

STRENGTHEN THE GAME
The KMSB Youth International Gryphon Cup is one of the most exciting junior hockey events in the region — uniting emerging talent from across Australia and the globe for four days of elite competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
With teams representing multiple nations and hundreds of rising junior stars, this event offers brands a powerful platform to connect with families, junior athletes, international representatives and the wider hockey community — while supporting the next generation of elite hockey. Your brand could reach multiple nations, including Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and South Korea.

Opportunities exist for partners to support this year’s competition, with major shirt branding available on the playing shirts of WA’s four teams competing in the competition - the Stars, Highlanders, OMSB Outbacks and KMSB Waves.
This is a high-impact sponsorship asset, with these playing shirts living well beyond the tournament, often worn by players year-round.
The following document outlines key coverage statistics of last year’s tournament to showcase impact for sponsors, in addition to the branding opportunities currently available.

SHAPING TOMORROW’S CHAMPIONS

The KMSB Youth International Gryphon Cup was established in 2007 in Perth, Western Australia, with a simple but powerful vision: to give young athletes the opportunity to experience hockey on an international and professional stage. That vision remains at the heart of the tournament today.
As the proud home of Hockey Australia’s High Performance Program, players get to compete in the same venue that houses both the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos. This connection to world-class hockey provides the perfect backdrop for the Cup, which has grown into one of the most exciting under-16 tournaments in the region.
Played over four days at Perth Hockey Stadium, Curtin University – a venue boasting two world-class synthetic turf pitches and elite performance facilities – the Cup delivers competition of the highest standard. Each year, it attracts national and state representative teams from Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and a growing list of leading interstate academies.
From its beginnings as a youth initiative, the Cup has developed into a respected international tournament with increasing prestige and reach. Our ambition is clear: to continue building the KMSB Youth International Gryphon Cup into Asia’s premier youth hockey event – a stage where the next generation of players can compete, grow, and connect with fellow hockey enthusiasts from across the globe.
