Bothy Projects 2016 - 2019

HNC Computer Aided Architectural Design and Technology
The HNC Computer Aided Architectural Design and Technology learners were introduced to the architectural design process; precedent research, site analysis, concept sketching, model making, 2d orthographic drawing, and 3d visualisation.
The learners applied this design process to the brief for a bothy, as part of the Bothy Project. The Bothy Project is a network of Creative Scotland artist residencies in Scotland in inspiring rural locations. The site for this project was in Glasgow’s Pollok Park.
Proposals were presented in a variety of communication mediums to best showcase their unique proposals to the client. These proposals were presented at end of year show exhibitions at City of Glasgow College City Campus.
