L’architecture peut-elle renforcer la solidarité ?

L’atelier vise l’exploration de formes d’habitats « solidarisantes », c’est-à-dire une communauté et des maisons pour être ensemble, se voir, se rencontrer, croître, et vivre en harmonie avec la nature. Deux dimensions sont particulièrement importantes : l’adaptabilité des maisons dans le temps, et les espaces partagés par les ménages qui s’entraident. Le travail se penche tout particulièrement sur les relations entre les modes d’appropriation et d’occupation de l’espace, entre les formes bâties et les pratiques culturelles qui évoluent dans le temps. Can architecture strengthen solidarity?

The workshop aims to explore “solidarizing” forms of living environments, i.e. a community and houses to be together, to see and meet each other, and to live in harmony with nature. Two dimensions are especially important: the adaptability of houses in time, and shared spaces where residents can help one another. The work focuses in particular on the relationship among the modes of appropriation and occupation of space, between built forms and cultural practices which evolve in time.
