Hinton Physical Therapy has been operating in Hinton for three years and serving clients in Whitecourt and the surrounding area for the past seven years. We provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments, custom foot orthotics, pre-employment screenings, manual and manipulative therapy and intramuscular stimulation. We serve clients with musculoskeletal injuries (simple sprains and strains to post surgical care) such as neck problems, back problems and shoulder, knee and ankle strains/sprains as well as clients with all sports injuries, from hockey, skiing, foot ball and other school sports related injuries. Hinton Physical Therapy is the primary contact for work-related injury clients in Hinton and area, and because Hinton has a high working population, we are open late to serve patients at the most convenient time for them – after work. Public perception is usually that physiotherapy services are only available in hospital, which is not always the case. Hinton Physical Therapy is a private clinic funded by WCB, Auto-insurance companies, extended health plans through work and personal health insurance extended coverage. Our goal at Hinton Physical Therapy is to get our clients back to full musculoskeletal health so that they are able to go back to work and play without pain, injury and stiffness. We feel that no one should have to live with pain, and we strive to do all we can to make it possible for our clients to perform day-to-day activities like work, recreation, sports and daily activities without pain.
