Ingrid Koelbl May 22, 1928 - January 9, 2017

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful and loving spirit who touched the hearts of people all over the world. Ingrid was always for ‘family first’. She was a loving mother to Gidget (Oscar), Frank (Nancy), and Maria (Tim), and a wonderful Oma to Luke (Anita) and Nick, and great grandmother to Parker. She is also survived by her two brothers, Helmut (in Austria) and Fred, as well as nephews Jeff & Jason in B.C. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Willi in January 2012. The family would like to thank Dr. Sorenson and all the loving hands at the Mountain View Centre for their care over the years. As an expression of sympathy, donations in loving memory can be made to the Hinton & District SPCA, as Ingrid loved animals.

SPCA PET OF THE WEEK Moss is one of seven kittens that came to the SPCA this past fall, who was the only one that was not lucky in finding a home. This very sweet little boy is a bit shy at first with new people and that is probably the reason he was overlooked. He is gentle and playful, and gets along very well with all the other cats. He would love to find a loving home that he could call his own. Come down and meet all the pets at the Hinton & District SPCA. Call 780-865-2800 or stop by 209 Kelley Rd. www.hintondistrictspca.com hintonspca.blogspot.ca
