Office of International Affairs

Introduction

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) has been established with a goal of enhancing the quality of education and research and their service to society by creating an ecosystem for learning and world class research. It helps in developing national and international collaboration and strategic partnerships . The Office is headed by Director-International Affairs and coordinates wide-ranging international activities such as recruitment of international students and faculty, encouraging study abroad, and fostering international exchange and collaboration. The prime focus of OIA is to partner with regional and international institutions, promote joint academic programmes with strategic partner universities, and establish bilateral and multilateral exchange programmes. OIA strives to enable our students gain international exposure through semester exchanges, study abroad, summer programmes, internships, research works, higher studies abroad, twinning programmes, scholarships, etc. It also helps international students have successful academic, cultural and personal experiences while studying at HITS.
