2020-2021
A friend of mine, who was intensely religious, once asked me a Question, “If God Almighty were to appear before you and offer you two boons in place of all your wealth, what would you choose?” That sent a shock through my spine. Certainly it was a terrifying proposition. I pondered a while. Obviously, my choice of boons had to be powerful enough to rebuild my capital.
After much contemplation, I made my choice: ETERNAL ENTHUSIASM and PERSEVERANCE. For these are the Qualities that made me what I am. Added to these are two additional features of my work culture: LONG-RANGE VISION and LIVE NETWORKING. These have been the four cornerstones of my work and personal life, the pillars on which I have built my estate.
Only a nation built on strong basic principles of economics will stand the test of time. It is for every one of us to think about where this country is headed and see what we can do individually and collectively to help India come out of the red. We are a billion-strong nation of talented and diligent people. We don’t really need to leave our home ground in search of greater pastures. It breaks my heart when I see brilliant and educated youngsters queuing up in front of the foreign embassies for visas. I wish I could tell them there are plenty of things they can do right here in India. Together we have to build a better nation.
I am reminded of the words of Martin Luther King Jr., “Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”
This is what I have tried to do.
I wish I had the strength to do more.
Excerpts from Autobiography Wheels and Wings
In 1965, Late Dr. K.C.G. Verghese took up teaching assignments in Automobile Engineering subjects at two educational institutes. His well-acquainted knowledge on the subject and inquisitiveness to the know-hows of the Automotive industry worldwide drew in a large number of students. While coaching for British Automobile Examination, Dr. K.C.G. Verghese realized that the standard of the
examination was far below the level of our Indian Universities; and that our students could easily clear exams with minimum preparation. Students promised Dr. K.C.G. Verghese to bring over a hundred students from Singapore and Malaysia if he were to set up an institution on his own. The idea dawned upon Dr. K.C.G. Verghese as he felt the time has come to start his own venture very soon, Hindustan Engineering
Training Centre (HETC) was started in 1966 as an educational institution intended mainly for foreign students. This irresistible quest for knowledge eventually paved way for the commencement of other Institutions under the Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI).

The mural, “Symphony at the Jubilee” has a prominent Air Craft propeller which symbolises the flagship programme of the institution namely Aeronautical Engineering. The propeller blades are painted in a blazing yellow, the defining colour of the Hindustan Group of Institutions. The intermeshing cog wheel gears indicate the evergreen/core engineering streams like Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. The fashionista resident is an aide-mémoire of the Fashion and Design streams pioneered at the institute. The double helical DNA/RNA stand points the ever-growing demand of Life Sciences/Liberal Arts programmes which are upskilled in the campus. The ‘Robotic Hand’ emoting the ‘Hand in Flesh’ is indicative of the integration of the Automation streams (i.e., Robotics & Mechatronics) with the core engineering streams. The electric spark is the suggestive of the Electrical Engineering streams edified at Hindustan. The ‘Beehive Architecture’ which doubles up as the chemical molecular structure fulfils the most promising streams like Chemical, Bio-Sciences and the Architecture courses. The overall architecture is sprinkled with the basic molecular notations. The integration all above inter connected concepts in a fine meticulous manner symbolises Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science’s comprehensive coverage of all major streams and courses in a single location, the Bay Range Campus.
The making of “Symphony at the Jubilee” involved a great ordeal. All the mural items like hexagon, human & robot hand with spark, DNA representation, lady as a fashion icon, and letters were made in fibre material moulded in the ground. For the above, workers were assembled from northern part of India on campus to complete the task on time. The outer frame was made of Aluminium Composite Panel. The erection began with the help of giant crane, and were fixed meticulously.
The name for the mural “Symphony at the Jubilee” which means a consonance of sound, is a befitting name to a thoroughly conceived concept, which has visually merchandised the steely resolve and unfathomable vision of the institution.

t gives me immense pleasure to participate in the launch of the Centre for Open and Digital Education of Hindustan. Hindustan University is an important University in the country and I am a part of this University as
a Member of the Planning and Monitoring Committee for the past two and a half years. The Aeronautical Department which I have visited has no parallel in the country and the University has good NAAC Score, NIRF Ranking and NBA Accreditation for many Courses. Hindustan is also contributing to the welfare of the society.
The requirement of the country is skilled workforce. We should provide vocational education so that the younger generation become useful human resource and they perform well anywhere in the world improving the economy of the country. I am sure the leadership of Hindustan will definitely be helpful in producing such competent students who will add value to the country.”
Dr. G. Thiruvasagam
President,
Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi.
Having served as a committee member in several accreditation committees, I would like to appreciate the achievements of HITS,
specifically in the sphere of Research and Intellectual Property. Outcome Based Education (OBE) has become a trendsetter and is undeniably a boon to learning approach. Being a student-centred approach, OBE tests learners’ knowledge, skills, and attributes, and augments employability prospects; and to attain this height, only Open and Digital Education can pave way. Sound infrastructure with technological aids, well-trained teachers and global acceptability are the key requirements of digital learning, and I’m content to note that Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science already possesses them. I would like to see HITS-CODE offering courses with global partnerships in the near future which will make it more valuable to the learners.”
Thiru. S. S. Balaji MLA Thiruporur.
I would like to recall my childhood days when I used to get inspired by catching a glimpse of the aircrafts displayed at the HIET, Guindy campus. I drew my inspiration to become an engineer by seeing those aircrafts. I feel
proud to be part of this function in this illustrious institution which has inspired many people like me. It is also interesting to note that both Dr. Elizabeth Verghese, Chancellor, HITS in her service at the Highways Research Station and Dr. Ponmudi, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, who has been the then Highways Minister have contributed to the development of this state; and both of them are present in this CODE launch event. I have been witnessing the contributions of this institution and the Chancellor Madam to our state and society through their efforts.
My best wishes to Hindustan for many such accomplishments!”
Padma Shri. Dr. K. M. Cherian Chairman & CEO, Frontier Lifeline Hospital and Frontier Mediville.
I know Dr. K. C. G. Verghese right from the time I came back to India in 1975 June. While we were driving from Meenambakkam airport, very small airport then, near the compound wall I saw a plane, a 50-seater propellor powered aircraft. It was written on that, Hindustan Aeronautical Flying School. It was the first time I saw that, and later on I found that it belonged to Aeronautical Engineering and Flying School belonging to Dr. K. C. G. Verghese. The impression which I had on Dr. K. C. G. Verghese was this: he used to take lot of risks; he loved cars. I had fascination for cars as well. Later on, I met him. Apart from hailing from the same place, we had something in common—both were little adventurous type. Dr. K. C. G. Verghese stood alone as a man and was successful by introducing Air Asiatic— the first private airline in India, and other education institutes; whereas I, along with 104-member team formed the Madras Medical Mission, and I insisted on teamwork. I took up cardiac surgery very early when I was 23, and being a cardiac surgeon, you cannot do anything on your own. You need a team. I need at least 10 members while performing a surgery.
Madras Medical Mission was the first superspeciality hospital of the country. Then we formed Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. Due to some misunderstanding, I had to leave both and decided to stand on my own; and that is how we started a school named, ‘The Study’, the only school which today teaches Robotics, Drone Technology, Space, Tissue Engineering, etc.
One thing I learnt from Dr. K. C. G. Verghese is, ‘if you want to do something, do it on your own.’ For the youngsters who aspire to be leaders, you got to trust, but don’t trust everybody. Look at everyone and take only the best from them. Don’t try to destroy anyone or comment on their progress. I think that is what Dr. K. C. G. Verghese has done. He looked after his work. Never bothered about others. I think that is a good success formula.
You have to be optimistic. Watch out for your opportunity, and grab it. It will not knock twice, but only once— you should realise it. You got to work hard, be sincere, honest, and transparent. If we keep these qualities, none will put you down; you will come up. Almighty will look after you, but you should do your part. My brief association with Dr. K. C. G. Verghese was good and mutually beneficial. I was very glad when my daughter said that Hindustan is going to start courses in Life Sciences. It is a very promising sign.
Wishing Hindustan all the best!”
Secretary, Department of Defence Research &Development; and Chairman, DRDO.
My heartiest congratulations to all students who are graduating during the 11th Convocation Day today. Friends, when you move out of this University, how you perform in the society makes the University happy. Your professors will feel proud when you achieve with the knowledge imparted by them and when you become significant in the society. All of you students must work towards that and make your alma mater honoured of you. I inferred that Hindustan started its Aeronautical department very early in this country; and has been doing extensive research in the area of Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering.
Also, I have seen that Hindustan has been involved in many projects with governments, particularly with DRDO in a big way. I congratulate Team Hindustan for its remarkable dealing with prestigious Projects associated with DRDO, SERB, NSTL, CVRDE, GTRE, and other leading industries.
India has developed from what it was before 30-40 years; and has come a huge way majorly dealing with Defence Technology, and setting records. Anti-satellite Missile Test in 2019 made India the fourth country after the US, Russia and China to have tested an ASAT weapon. Arjun Tank, one of the main battle tanks developed by DRDO for Indian Army; Advanced Towed Artillery Gun System (ATAGS), the indigenous gun that will soon be the world’s longest-range gun; and Advanced Combat Aircraft—all of which signify India’s successful ability of demonstration. ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’, the vision of the Prime Minister of making India a self-reliant nation is the need of the hour. 5 exclusive labs are to be opened shortly that would work with young people below 35 years. I shall be delighted to support Hindustan and its young researchers for whom opportunity to work on projects at DRDO Labs are open.”

My memorable associations with the Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science started about 5 years ago following the visit of the DirectorInternational Affairs, Dr. G. Ilavazhagan to the University of Leeds to develop academic collaborations between our institutions. Since then, a significant level of progress has been made; for example, I made many visits to HITS during technical seminars and participating in different research reviews. Furthermore, I am serving as the Overseas Lead Investigator of an ongoing research project titled “Optimal Dispatch of Virtual Power Plant using Cyber-Physical Controller for Real-Time EMS”, funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering (Rs. 80 Lakhs) under the Industry-Academia Partnership Programme. In this project, Dr. A. K. Parvathy, Professor & HoD, EEE, HITS serves as the Lead Indian Investigator and Dr. K. R. Devabalaji, Assistant Professor, EEE, HITS serve as the Co-Investigator with the participation of research students from HITS and University of Leeds in the team. We work to develop an Advanced Energy Management System including a Virtual Power Plant to optimise the energy supply and demand requirements in the region of interest with consideration to the energy economy. As part of the research collaboration, Dr. A. K. Parvathy and Dr. K. R. Devabalaji have visited the University of Leeds during July 2019 and gained first-hand knowledge of the related developments in the UK. The research has already resulted in many joint publications in reputed international journals including IEEE Access and MDPI Applied Sciences, and conferences in the area of the research. I enjoy addressing the world challenges in collaboration with Dr. A. K. Parvathy’s group at HITS and I look forward to continuing our collaboration in future. Best wishes to Hindustan!”

good life is said to be a collection of happy memories, and my life at Hindustan is one such happy memory which is not only remarkably close to my heart, but is a lot of value add to whatever my life had shaped into. I joined Hindustan in 2003 via Indian Defence Personnel Quota and would like to extend my deepest gratitude and thank Hindustan Management for supporting the Indian Defence Personnel. I passed out as an Aeronautical Engineer in the year 2007 from Hindustan College of Engineering, now called HITS. I was also a part of the college dance group “Spring boots” and participated in multiple college cultural events. Being part of these events gave me lot of confidence to face challenges in life and of course, improved my fitness. Post my graduation, I did my Masters in Airline and Airport Management.
While at Hindustan, our Aeronautical Department professors encouraged me to gather hands on working experience on Aircrafts in addition to the regular curriculum. This helped me to stand out of the competition while I was looking for employment. My stint of 15 years of work spans across working with prestigious airlines across the globe like, Kingfisher Airlines, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa Technik. Currently, I am the General Manager for Laminaar Aviation Infotech in Singapore and head the Implementation and Delivery department.
Clarence Budington Kelland quoted, “My father did not tell me how to live, he lived and let me watch him do it”. So has my father, Mr. Ravichandran, a former Indian Airforce Personnel. He taught me one key thing in life: never give up. I grew up watching aircrafts. This is where I derived my passion for aviation Industry and chose Aeronautical Engineering as my stream of graduation. Armed with a fighting spirit, a resolve to make it big in life, a can-do attitude and a successful career in aviation, I am in front of you today. I participated in Mrs. Singapore Beauty Queen 2021 National Pageant and won the Second Runner Up. I was also crowned Mrs. Superwoman Singapore 2021. Thanks to each one of you who voted for me and big thanks to Hindustan Management for supporting me during the pageant journey. I am also the International Pink Ambassador for India Turns Pink Foundation, a non-profit organization which aims to be the catalyst of change for Society’s view of Breast Cancer to raise public awareness, advocate early cancer detection and thereby treat it. The goal is to make India a breast cancer free nation by year 2030.
I hope to receive continuous support in this welfare journey, and I wish the best of success to Hindustan fraternity!

“An IOT Based Intelligent Driver Assistance System”
About the Patent:
Road accidents occur due to various reasons, but most prominent of all is the blind spot accidents which occur when the driver loses sight while their line of sight is blocked by one of the components of the vehicle. The blind spots are sometimes ‘internal’ wherein some specific positions such as over the right or left shoulder of the driver turns blind; or sometimes ‘external’ due to the design and construction of roads such as hairpin bends and roundabouts. Either way, the driver loses complete visibility of the incoming object which increases the odds of a severe collision causing loss of life and property.
The presented system is driver assisting system that is powered by Internet-of-things and is installable in the vehicle as well as at the blindspot on the road, and the fusion of both proceeds to provide enough
information for the driver as he approaches the blind spot and passes it with caution. It provides an advanced overtaking assistance system comprising of short-range and long-range Radar Sensors that is part of the Electronic Control System that senses incoming traffic from the blind spot. The advanced overtaking assistance system is enabled with the cameras mounted on both the side mirrors in forward direction and a display device on the front console to have a clear vision of the right and left side while travelling on road with the option of switching. The assisting system can also be fixed on both the sides of the road and equipped with a solar powered IOT based camera and radar sensors to sense the traffic density in the field of interest area at the risky corners or hairpin bends. The invention is designed to work both as a standalone system that even in cases of poor network caused due to extreme weather conditions as the radars continue to detect, locate and track objects and continue to feed the information to the base station which transmits the information to the vehicles.

About the Patent:
The Endometriosis disorder is a common reproductive disorder in women. An average of 20% women suffer from it across the globe. The Endometriosis is a tissue like structure which usually lies at the inner and outer part of the uterus. It affects parts including uterus, ovary, peritoneum, and gall bladder. The identification endometriosis at the initial stage is a challenging diagnosis mainly due to the lack of identification of methods of the scanned images.
“A Convolutional Neural Network-Based Sustainable Method for Classification of Endometriosis Laparoscopic Images” invention proposes a deep learning-based endometriosis identification approach to identify the endometriosis of the scanned images. The Convolution Neural network (CNN) is used for training and prediction, as well to classify whether it is endometriosis or not. The invented research work has been experimented with 4,000 scanned images and has yielded 80.02% accuracy.

Every vehicle can monitor the pollution level on a unified platform, thereby optimizing the resources required with existing systems at the vehicle level. The proposed intelligence system consists of a sensors module, a Wireless Communication module with Cloud, and Processing Module with Database. Apart from this to detect faults in the products, sensors and to optimize from manufacturers point, IoV provides the connection. The accuracy is measured on-trend prediction against pre-defined threshold values and the experimentation yielded the better performance with an accuracy of 99% to generate alert for True-case.
Title:
“Cold-formed Steel Beam with Encased Braced Web for Earthquake Resistant Constructions”.
Patentees:
Dr. Joanna P.S Prof., Civil Engg.
Mr. Samuel J Asst. Prof., Civil Engg
About the Patent:
The construction industry is looking out for materials and structural members that are economical and state-of-the art. This invention demonstrates a new beam component made with Cold-Formed Steel (CFS), HYSD bars and Green Concrete suitable for earthquake resistant constructions. Economical design of structural steel beams normally requires thin webs. But if the web is extremely thin the problem of plate buckling may arise. Thus, the newly developed CFS beam is provided with HYSD rebars as Diagonal bracings in the web to achieve adequate out-of-plane stiffness and shear buckling resistance and thereby enhancing load carrying capacity of the beam. As the CFS beams with diagonal bracing showed brittle failure, the web was encased with High Volume fly-ash concrete which is a green material for composite action. Hence the newly developed beam not only has higher moment capacity, but also possess good ductility which is a desirable property in earthquake-resistant structures because it provides early warning of any impending failure and also facilitates re-distribution of stress.

Dr. K. C. G. Verghese Higher Education Leadership and Management Centre and IQAC HITS, organised a National Webinar on 29 May 2021 inviting over 250 participants across 48 institutions. Dr. S. P. Thyagarajan, Chancellor, Avinashalingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women presided over the event as the Chief Guest. He presented his views reiterating the importance of NEP 2020 which has gained
popularity not only in our nation but also overseas. Dr. R. W. Alexander Jesudasan, Pro Vice Chancellor, HITS highlighted the aims of NEP 2020, to develop good, thoughtful, well-rounded and creative individuals. Further, he elaborated on the scope of NEP and the important aspects to revamp the curriculum and update it and making it more relevant to make the students employable and focus on industry connect.
Dr. S. P. THYAGARAJAN Chancellor, Avinashalingam Institute for Home Science & Higher Education for Women INTERVIEW OF 1 2 3 4
What is your opinion regarding the flexibility of the courses that 40% of the courses can be taken from other than the original course opted by the student? For example, if a student has opted Mechanical subject, he can take 40% apart from the original subject?
The 40% is meant for Electives and not the core area of the programme. For example, if a student wants to go to IIT he can pursue any programme and he can also continue the programme in the university and the credits will be deposited in the Academic Bank of Credits.
Contrary to the NEP, Maths is not required for engineering institution what are your views?
Professional setting standard bodies will earmark the newer guidelines and will envisage the flexibility, and it will go through a process of reformation.
Will the introduction of local languages, vernacular languages reduce the scope of improving English language in HE and result in poor employability?
Excelling in local language will not hinder progress. We have examples of China, South Korea excelling. Therefore, due recognition should be given for our mother tongue and respect the implementation of local languages and regain our position to localize the knowledge system in education and not just in communication.
Challenges of the English teacher and that the students have to qualify for GRE, and other competitive exams to pursue education abroad. How will the English teachers cope with this situation? The era has changed, instead of conversing with only one language, students are interested in learning more languages, that is the reason NEP has come to the rescue. We have been consistently relying on English language, and got used to the system, we need not disregard English but also enrich the students with other languages. So far, the Government of India has not been providing specific financial support for the growth and intensification of languages along with English. GRE and TOEFL are not the only ones to be qualified, and the students should get to know the international development that have taken place, English may be the channel, without disregarding English we have to excel in other languages in teaching-learning process.

There is a mention regarding admission through entrance examination conducted at national level and it is not only just for the private institution, it is criticized and opposed whether it could have one-point entry, there is no distinction for private and government. There is only one methodology, it is for schools and colleges and the issue is taken up in courts.
How the NEP is going to address the credit banking system and there are several institutions of various grades? 7
As a policy, only accredited institutions can become a member of Academic Bank of Credits. Within the accredited institutions it may vary, the minimum requirement is that the institution should be accredited.

It has been 33 years to the day, since I joined Hindustan. We were the fourth batch in a young college. Both of us wanted to grow and both of us held hands. The college held our hands and we latched onto it.
It has been 29 years since I passed out, and 4 years since we celebrated our Silver Jubilee Reunion at the college.
And I am a proud Alumnus of Hindustan!
Alumni are great role models for current students and are often well-placed to offer practical support to students as they start their careers.
Alumni are the national and international ambassadors of the college.
Alumni can help students get placed at their respective organizations.
Alumni can play an active role in voluntary programmes like mentoring students in their areas of expertise.
Alumni could also play a significant role in contributing scholarships to deserving students.
Alumni are the lifeline of an Institution.
We have representations in Corporate Life, Sports, Banking Sectors, Government, Bureaucracy, Politics and whatever field you can name.
We are a powerful group all of whom have a shared identity, a shared alma mater and a common strength.
We are, and will always be known as HINDUSTANIANS, foremost.
It is our identity. It is our visiting card. You cannot remove the Hindustan gene that is within us.
Within the country and outside the country, the bond remains forever with our batchmates and with our professors. There is always an anecdote or an incident which will instantly connect us with our batchmates, our college and our professors. The storage space in our minds will always be filled with memories created in college or during later visits.
Today's Students are tomorrow's Alumni.
As a Student, you create memories.
As an Alumni, you come back to recollect the memories. Be a proud student today and a proud Alumni tomorrow.

Self-confidence means believing in yourself and building up your brain towards it. I mean building up your brain and making it understand that you can do what you think. Having self-confidence helps in various things. But mostly people fail to do. People really lack in self-confidence for a good and healthy life.
To gain self-confidence you need to explore and see deep into yourself and believe that you have the ability and you are capable to overcome the obstacles and daily challenges. Self-confidence is a kind of thing which cannot be taught by others. It is built inside yourself. If you lose your self-confidence, then you fail to face your difficulties. Self-confidence is the important key to achieve your goal. In short “SELF-CONFIDENCE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS”.
Blooms in summer shades
Spread as carpet raids
Perched in my stone-brick wall
Where dandelions come to call Welcome wildflower snapdragons. Colors of pink and orangeades
Adore my rock brocades
Shoots anew early morn
Seek a place in my barn
Fiery as the name resounds
Snapdragons bloom.

To Kick a Bad Habit,
1. Control Your Eyes: “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,”
2. Do not believe your heart believe your mind: “Whosoever is trusting in his heart is a fool for it seeks your comfort, and whosoever is walking in wisdom is delivered for the mind sees the future.
3. Be careful what you are doing: “The present decides your destination.” Imagine your destination and do things accordingly.
I no longer light for the sun
And call it my own,
For I have now realized.
It does belong to me
Like the silence
Belongs to the night
Or the fragrance Belongs to the moon lily.
It is mine,
And yet I no longer claim it,
As my own.
For it belongs as much
To the blades of grass that smile, As it wakes them up; It belongs as much to the waves, That splash around,
Under its radiant glory...
It belongs as much
To the little brown one-eyed mongrel, Stretching itself out on the stone path...
How true - I do not own the sun, And yet, it most certainly is.
Mine..
A man once ted a temple that was under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly, he noticed a similar idol lying nearby. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same idol?"
"No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage." The gentleman examined the idol, and found no apparent damage.
"Where is the damage?" he asked.
"There is a scratch on the nose of the idol," said the sculptor, still busy with his work.
Where are going to install the idol?" The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high.
"If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked. The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, "I will know it."
The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether someone else appreciates it or not. "Excellence" is a drive from inside, not outside.

Look into the Stars for the light of night, Forgive everyone let that be the way, Soon time will heal your thoughts and pain. Darkness will evade, tears will go away, Cage your mind with colours peace will come your way. Release the negative, let in positive ideas, Love yourself, Live the moment.

She was locked in her beautiful home, Called the cage. All the songs she sang were The ones people wanted to hear. Inside the small body laid a tiny heart That burnt with rage. For the desire of freedom, Like a phoenix rising from the ash, She will take her wings and soar, In the sky reaching her pinnacle.
A Snail can sleep for 3 years
An Ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain. To escape the grip of crocodile’s jaw, push your thumb into its eyeballs. It will let you go instantly.
Ants never sleep. Also, they don’t have lungs! A Woodpecker can peck 20 times per second. If you cut off a snail’s eye, it will grow a new one. Jellyfish evaporate in the Sun. At birth, a baby panda is smaller than a mouse.
Life is a spring, It’s a song to sing, You have to bloom, And never doom.
Life is a summer, You have to agonize, Bestowing to your feats, Sow hard work seeds.
Life is a rain, Don’t let it go in futile, Drench yourself in philosophy, Relish its stunning geography. Life is an autumn,
Sometimes you fall to the bottom, Like the leaves in this season, Which turn brown and crimson.
Life is a winter, It’s like a splinter, Between good and bad.
Sometimes life may appear ruthless, It might pierce you like a dagger, But it can also turn to be virtuous, If you like the triumph ladder.
All human beings have the same number of hours in a day, but why do some humans achieve a lot in a day compared to others? How do they complete the work that they had to do where many others don’t? In my opinion, it’s because their focus is narrowed, i.e., they are concentrated on a particular work rather than putting up a lot in mind and spending half of their thinking what to do first and next. They go small. To line up your priorities and to act accordingly is a smart way to spend your day because achievements occur step by step not all at once. There is a saying that “when one tries to catch two rabbits at a time, he’ll catch neither “. In the same perspective, when a person tries to achieve more than one goal at a time, he’ll achieve none. An intellectual way to work towards your goals is to know which is the most important, which can be the first domino, and then work towards it and complete the work. It saves a lot of time as well as energy which the person can use to work towards the next goal. Keep completing the goals one by one until the lead domino is found and knocked up. Simultaneously doing more than a single work is not effective. Multitasking is a lie. A research proved that a person who is multi-tasking commits more mistakes and commonly makes poor decisions than the non-multitasker whose focus is narrowed. When you do one right thing, you don’t have to look for consequences and monitor everything around you.
It's dark and the world seems quieter, Almost dead;
My vessel is devoid of emotion. Afloat into nothingness with my arms stretched, I welcomed apathy.
A single spark flows from the core to my fingertips; Heavy are my eye lids, sound is my body. The weight of my head is lifted off my shoulders, My vessel feels no longer mine. I take no charge, I bear no responsibility. Detached from all of mankind, I finally find solace. I'm not asleep, nor awake, Stuck in the middle between dreams and reality; Not a single thought in mind. I have forgotten love and pain. Where has this peace been hiding? Why was it kept from me? Doesn't matter, it's here to stay. It's still dark and time seems to have frozen, Can this last forever?
I feel the itch of a sunrise and I dread the end of this bliss, Please, may I have another moment?
