Welcome Rally Tests Split Schedule Mitchell Yu Senior Staff Writer On Friday, August 24, Hillsdale High School held the Welcome Back Rally, the first to follow a split rally format. with two showings across periods 4A and 4B in order to accommodate the larger student body. Junior Abby Dacumos feels the rally was “good but I didn’t like how it was separated; it wasn’t as hyped as usual.” “It was kinda sad that it wasn’t all together,” sophomore Zaira Adrianwala agrees. “I understand why but it kinda bummed me out that we couldn’t see our friends [who attended the other rally].” There were some benefits to the separate rallies; junior Aiden Keener affirms that “everyone had a good seat” and “there was a lot of room for everyone”.
