Who Is Mary?

So to start with, we’d love to know a little bit about your journey and how it lead you on this path to helping others...

I was born into a family of 8 children, and I was the fourth in line and first girl.I had a good up bringing and parents who loved us all so much.When I was 19 a terrible tragedy hit our home when my brother Paul who was 21 committed suicide and the whole dynamics of our home changed forever.Which once was eight became 7 in circumstances that had no answers

for the rest of their children but their hearts where broken.

I got married and began to have children and with each child I suffered with post natal depression something that I carried for a long long time.Itformed the woman I was to become lonely,needy,sada failure and not good enough I really struggled to find anything good in myself, yet I could see so much good in other people.I had so many masks to choose from and never allowed anyone to know how my life was.My four children where my life my world as long as

As my eldest two who where boys started to group up I found that when they got the taste of freedom they took a road that I always preached never to take and that was drugs and alcohol . The years that followed where years that where full of pain and hurt and all that comes along

consequences.Hindsight is great all the things I could have done and would have done if id have known better.

I felt I had failed my sons I felt helpless and very alone I tried to keep going but I was struggling to get through each

because I had losr myself in all the things that enter my life over the years.In desperation I knew that I had to do something to change me or the only other way out was death and I could not do that to my children they where my world.So I seeked helped and it came in a strange way but even though I seeked it I knew that I had to dig deep and let go of people places and things from my past that where controlling my life on a daily basis.So for me I began a journey of labour it was painful it was lonely is hurt but and the end of that labour I Mary Keogh was loved back to life gone was that needy lonely girl who try to fix everybody and who never fixed herself but this journey allowed me to let go of my past create my day and master what I wanted to create in my life.So today

feel

privileged

and

blessed

that

I

have

been

giving a gift of guiding people back to a life that they desire

and

love.

Life

is

so

simple

but

we

make

it

so

complicated by our ego and our environment we are always striving but never arriving always searching but never finding because we have lost who we are.

Did you imagine that your academy would grow as quickly as it has?

My dream was to have an academy where people could be guided and shown how to use the natural gifts and tools that lie within us. I began never realizing it would grow so fast, but I believed with my whole heart that the academy would change people’s lives and allow them to become the best version of themselves and I see this on a

I didn’t always think this, it is only as I matured a bit in life and look back in reflection that I have realised what she sacrificed for me and my siblings. I admire her so much and I believe I gained a lot of strength from her, even though I didn’t know it at the time.In business I have had many influencers, I guess the one that comes to mind is Brian Tracy author of over 80 world number 1 best selling books in personal and professional growth. I am proud to now call him a friend.My great friend and confidant that has passed Donie O Callaghan.But strange as it may seem, I am influenced most by the people I meet daily, those that I have conversation with, those self-employed people, entrepreneurs and those that want to start following their dreams. They inspire me most. I love listening to their stories and finding solutions for their problems.I have had many other influential people in my life, the list is too long.

to

give

one

piece

of

advice

to

someone

starting a new business, what would it be? Be patiently persistent, you will meet challenges along the way, you will feel frustrated and you will be disappointed that you are not always getting the wins you want all of the time. Realise that however long it takes, if you want it bad

enough

stay

with

it.

Find

people

that

have

travelled the same path before and learn from them. It usually takes three times as long and costs twice as much than you expected at the start. Stick with your dream.
