The Mary Keogh Academy

Was Founded in 2020 by Mary herself when there became an increasing demand for alternative and IMMEDIATE services for those suffering with Mental Health, Abuse, Substance Abuse and Grief among other things.

Mary began with online delivery at this time due to pandemic restrictions and constraints but became an overnight success in being able to provide a ready service for those in need.

It is with no suprise that the key demographic was evidentally women who found Mary to be extremely relevant, considerate and above all, willing to help in any way possible.

Through one to one support, group support, complimentary seminars and online workshops, The Academy fast became a household name within the local community and it was from this point that the business began to develop and grow in order to meet client expectations and demand.

Upon delivering an array of online and in person workshops and seminars, Mary has developed a keen audience that attend her events and speaking engagements regularly

It's amazing to see the following and audience increase and grow as each event goes on. Being able to offer insight, tools and solutions to a wide range of relatable and crucially effective areas and disciplines is something she is extremely proud of.

ADDICTION

Mary has been through her fair share of ordeals and atopic that resonates with her and a large majority of her audience is Addiction Mary hosted the City of Derry's very first Addiction seminar in 2021 which was complimentary to those suffering addiction and by extension the close family and friends who are also victim to this horrible illness.

"There are not enough readily available services out there to help combat addiction and the detrimental effect it has on the addict, let alone a service that assists the people close to the addict who suffer every day also.

I make it my own personal mission to highlight and address the effects of addiction on the people closest to the addict as well as assist in offering tools that help both the addict and their families/friends work towards a better and more sustainable solution. The goal is to eradicate addiction, but we must take steps toard this and crawl before we walk." Mary Keogh
