9.1.1 Dismantling/assembling of motor from truck

•Switch off the truck and pull out the battery plug.

•Remove the covers for the motor compartment.

•Release the cables for the motor and tiller arm.

•Unscrew the four nuts for the attachment of the motor to the drive gear.

•Loosen the cables for the key switch and emergency switch. Pull out all the cables from the cover’s cable duct.

•Loosen the cover over the motor compartment and the tiller arm’s mounting from the motor. Remove the cover over the motor compartment together with the tiller arm.

•Carefully lift the motor straight up, without damaging the sealing surfaces to the drive gear and place the motor on a clean surface.

•Protect the drive gear from impurities by covering over its opening in an appropriate manner, e.g. with a piece of plastic.

The requisite service and repair of the motor can now be carried out.
