Tigercat Replacement of engine oil and filter

6. Once the oil has been drained, replace the drain plug (5) and torque to 95 Nm (70 ibf-ft).

The engine oil and filter should be changed at regular intervals. See the Planned Maintenance chart for frequency of oil and filter changes. 1. Start engine and run until warm. 2. Shut off engine.

7. Whenever you replace the engine oil, it is also necessary to replace the oil filter.

3. Place an oil collection container under the oil pan, directly beneath the oil drain plug (5). (Ensure that the container will hold approx. 31 litres (8.2 gallons) 2

8. Place the oil collection container under the oil filter, directly beneath the oil filter drain plug (5).

9. Remove the plug (5) at the bottom of the filter housing (4).

10. Unscrew the filter cartridge housing (4) a few turns using a wrench and allow any remaining oil to drain from the filter housing (4).

4. Unscrew the oil drain plug (5). 5. Take out the oil level dipstick (2) and remove the fill cap (1 or 3) to ease the down flow of the engine oil. 22
