OIL LEVEL CHECK

OIL LEVEL CHECK IMPORTANT!

Checking the oil level should be done only with the engine stopped and at operating temperature.

• Park the machine on level ground so that the engine is in the normal operating position. • Wait approximately 10 minutes after shutting off the engine to allow the oil to drain into the oil pan. • remove the Oil dipstick (2) and ensure that the oil level is between the “MIN” and “MAX” lines.

If the oil level is low

• Remove the engine oil fill cap (1 or 3) and fill the engine with clean oil (see the Oil Viscosity Chart in the back on this manual). • Check the level on the dipstick periodically while filling, do not fill past the “MAX” fill line. • Start the engine and let run for 2 to 3 minutes then shut off the engine. • Check the oil level on the dipstick. • Use only the recommended oil for your climate. See oil viscosity chart in this manual. • When topping up, don’t mix oils having different viscosities. • Failure to follow these rules may void your warranty.
