Air Bleeding Procedure

2.3. Hydraulic motor assy

(a) Swing motor

[NOTICE]

Do not apply any load to the motor before completing air bleeding.

Bleed the swing motor by following either (1), (2) or (3).

(1) Pour the hydraulic oil through the drain port into the casing until the oil flows out.

(b) Winch motor

[NOTICE]

Do not apply any load to the motor before completing air bleeding.

Bleed the winch motor by following either (1) or (2).

(1) Pour the hydraulic oil through the drain port into the casing until the oil flows out. (After connecting all pipes, pour oil just before starting the motor.)

(2) Perform the right or left swing operation slowly for approx. one minute.

(3) Set the swing brake switch to ON. Perform the right or left swing operation and keep the swing circuit hydraulic pressure at approx. 4.9MPa {50 kgf/cm2} (710 psi) for approx. 30 seconds.

(2) Perform the slow hoist-up or hoist-down operation for approx. 1 minute or more with the engine idling.

(c) Other motor

Before operating any other motors, pour the hydraulic oil through each drain port into the casing until the oil flows out.
