7. Mass table

The dry weights of the major components are shown in the table below. Check the weights, and select appropriate hoisting devices when removing and installing the component.

1. Winch [NOTICE]

Oil temperature: 50±5°C (113 - 131°F) (Hydraulic oil: TADANO Hydraulic oil LL)

Confirm set pressure on the crane information screen in the maintenance mode of AML.

Shift a control while the engine is idling, then increase engine speed.

Turn AML override switch to “Emergency” side. (After adjusting, return AML override switch to “Normal” side.)

1. Block either of the joints (LS1: Aux. winch, LS2: Main winch) between the hydraulic pilot control valve and hydraulic valve (winch brake).

1. Block either of the joints (A1 with B1: Aux. winch, A2 with B2: Main winch) between the hydraulic pilot control valve and hydraulic valve (winch brake).

2. Turn the PTO switch ON.

3. Move the winch lever that is blocked at its full stroke on the hoist-up side while the elevating lever is moved at its full stroke on the lowering side.

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure.

1. Turn the PTO switch ON.

2. Fully retract the boom.

3. Move the telescoping lever at its full stroke on the retraction side.

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure.

1. Turn the PTO switch ON.

2. Fully extend the boom.

3. Move the telescoping lever at its full stroke on the extension side.

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure.

2. Fully extend the elevating cylinder.

3. Move the elevating lever at its full stroke on the raising side.

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure.

1. Turn the PTO switch ON

2. Fully retract the elevating cylinder.

3. Move the elevating lever at its full stroke on the lowering side.

4. In this state, check the pressure.

4. Swing [NOTICE]

1. Turn the PTO switch ON.

2. Shift the swing lock lever to lock side.

3. Move the swing lever at its full stroke on the right and left side.

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure.

Already the pressure is set by the valve manufacturer. (Adjustment is not necessary.)

5. Outrigger [NOTICE]

Shift a control while the engine is idling, then increase engine speed.

3. Extend each the jack cylinder at its full stroke while the engine is idling. (And again press the outrigger collective control switch.)

4. In this state, set the engine speed to 1900 min-1 and check the pressure by the pressure gauge. Then adjust the pressure.

1. Connect a pressure gauge to the pressure check port (S).

2. Turn the PTO switch ON.

Low pressure sequence valve (S)

2.5 or over 25 or over 360 or over 670 (IDL.)

3. Turn the air conditioner switch OFF, and turn the oil cooler switch OFF.

4. And check the pressure by the pressure gauge.

(Note): Adjustment is not possible. If the pressure out of the setting pressure range, replace the valve.

High pressure sequence valve (R)

3.9 or less 40 or less 560 or less 670 (IDL.)

1. Connect a pressure gauge to the pressure check port(R).

2. Turn the PTO switch ON.

3. Move the side up jib to the retraction side.

4. In this state, check the pressure by the pressure gauge.

7. Steering [NOTICE]

Oil temperature: 50±5°C (113 - 131°F) (Hydraulic oil: TADANO Hydraulic oil LL)

Shift a control while the engine is idling, then increase engine speed.

1. Connect a pressure gauge to the pressure check port (G1/4).

2. Without jacking up, turn the steering to the right. Gently move the steering cylinders to the end of the stroke.

3. In this state, set the engine speed to 2700 min-1 and check the pressure by the pressure gauge. (Note): Adjustment is not possible. If the pressure is out of the set pressure range, replace the priority valve.

10. Jib tilt

Confirm set pressure on the crane information screen in the maintenance mode of AML.

1. Turn the PTO switch ON.

2. Mount the jib, and shift the telescoping/jib operation selector to “JIB TILT” side.

3. Raise the jib fully.

4. Operate the boom telescoping/jib tilt lever fully to the jib raising side.

5. In this state, check the pressure.

1. Turn the PTO switch ON.

2. Mount the jib, and shift the telescoping/jib operation selector to “JIB TILT” side.

3. Lower the jib fully.

4. Operate the boom telescoping/jib tilt lever fully to the jib lowering side.

5. In this state, check the pressure.

11. Suspension lock [NOTICE]

Oil temperature: 50±5°C (113 - 131°F) (Hydraulic oil: TADANO Hydraulic oil LL)

Shift a control while the engine is idling, then increase engine speed.

1. Connect a pressure gauge to the pressure check port (K).

2. Move the suspension lock cylinders to the end of the stroke.

3. In this state, set the engine speed to 2700 min-1 and check the pressure.
