Hydrostatic Charge Pressure Test and Adjustment
The hydrostatic pump charge pressure test port (S, Fig. 525) is located under the ROPS/FOPS. On later machines, it is located on the right at the back of the pump. On early machines, it is located on the left near the front of the pump.

Model 2500RT: 400 bar (5800 psi)

Right Forward Pressure Left Reverse Pressure Left Forward Pressure Charge Pressure 17-24 bar (300-350 psi)
2100RT: 362-369 bar (5250-5352 psi)
Model 2500RT: 417-424 bar (6048-6150 psi)
Equal to: hydrostatic relief + charge pressure
Early Machines
NOTE: Install tee fittings as required to connect pressure gages. Gauge to measure charge pressure can be installed directly at charge pressure test fitting (V, Fig. 524).
Measure the values with the machine at operating temperature and at high idle. Carefully drive the machine against an immovable object, such as a tree.
Caution
The machine has an extremely powerful track drive. Use extreme caution when driving the machine against an immovable object.
