CAN System Service/Computer Connection
J1939 Data Connector
The electrical system uses the SAE J1939 standard for Controller Area Network (CAN) communication and diagnostics. A J1939 data port (P, Fig. 547) is provided on the bottom of the left joystick console, for computer diagnostic/configuration connectivity.
Electronics Diagnostic Kit
The Eaton Diagnostic Kit [Manitou # 50301947] connects to the J1939 data connector and provides real-time telemetry information useful for troubleshooting compact track loader electronic propel and loader system functions. Refer to “Electronics Diagnostic Kit” on page311 for more information.

Service Adapter Harness
Service adapter harness (Fig. 548) [Manitou part # 50291685] is required to connect a computer to CAN system control modules. It provides a connection bridge between J1939 data connector (Fig. 547) and other computer connection harnesses dedicated to specific areas in the CAN system:
