Raw Water Pump Removal

1.Loosen both hose clamps from the raw water pump outlet to aftercooler hose and remove the hose.

3.Taking care not to damage the plastic coupling gear, remove the raw water pump by pulling it rearward out of the mounting flange. Discard gasket.

Check the end of the auxiliary shaft for the presence of the oil metering plug. Plug must be present to provide adequate lubrication for the raw water pump. 77

1.Remove the capscrew and clamp, if equipped, securing the LDA line to cylinder head cover. Then, loosen the LDA connection at the inlet manifold fitting and remove the line. 87
