Do not use take-up devices, such as ropes or chains, that are damaged or Wear work gloves when handling wire ropes. When the diesel engine is running, make sure that no objects come in contact with the fan. Objects that have fallen or protruded into the fan will be hurled back or destroyed and can damage the fan. The diesel engine oil is hot near the operating temperature. Avoid skin contact with hot oil or parts carrying oil. Wear safety goggles and work gloves when you are working on the battery.
