2 Safetyinstructions
Work on the diesel engine involves dangers to life and limb which you can encounter as an operating company, machine operator or maintenance technician. If the various safety instructions are always carefully read and followed, dangers and accidents can be prevented. This applies in particular to personnel working only occasionally, during maintenance, on the diesel engine. Safety regulations are listed below, the conscientious adherence thereof will ensure your safety and that of others and prevent damage to the diesel engine. For the description of work which can cause dangers for persons or the diesel engine, the necessary safety measures are described in this book.
2.1.1 Labeling of warnings
This is the warning sign. It warns of a potential risk of injury. Follow all measures that are indicated with this warning sign in order to prevent injuries or death.

2.2 General safety instructions
1. Familiarize yourself with the operator'smanual before commissioning the machine.
Make sure that you have in your possession the additional instructions associated with the special equipment for your machine or have read and understood them.
2. Only persons who are expressly authorized to do so may operate, maintain or repair the machine. Observe the legally permissible minimum age!
3. the personnel for operation, set-up, maintenance and repair.
4. Only allow personnel to be trained, taught, instructed or those placed in an apprenticeship to work on the diesel engine under the constant supervision of an experienced person.
5. Regularly check the safety and hazard-conscious work of the personnel in compliance with the operator'smanual.
6. Wear safe work clothing when you are working on the diesel engine.Avoid etc.Arisk of injury exists due to e.g. getting caught or pulled in.
