6, DOZER BLADE CONTROL SWITCH

The Dozer blade control switch is located on the left side control console. This switch is a twoposition rocker switch, and is used to turn "ON" or "OFF" the Dozer Blade function.

Depress this side of the switch to turn "ON" the Dozer Blade function. Depress this side of the switch to turn "OFF" the Dozer Blade function.

NOTE

It is necessary that the Dozer Control Switch be kept in the "OFF" position during excavating functions for proper machine performance.

7. DOZER BLADE CONTROLS

The Dozer Balde control is a single joystick located on the right side console next to the Boom/

Bucket joystick.

e, Depress the thumb-button in the Dozer blade control joystick to make the blade float. Depress it again to restore normal blade function. If the blade raise and lower functions are not responding, depress the button once more to reset.

Lower

Push the Dozer Blade joystick forward to lower the blade. Release the joystick. The joystick will return to the HOLD position.

Hold

The Dozer Blade joystick will return to the HOLD positon, when the joystick is released from either the Lower or Raise postion.

Raise

Pull the Dozer Blade joystick backward to raise the blade. Release the joystick. The joystick will return to the HOLD position.

Right Tilt

Push the Dozer blade joystick to the right (side motion) to lower the right blade corner. Release the joystick. The joystick will return to the HOLD position.

Hold

The Dozer Blade joystick returns to the HOLD postion when the joystick is realsed. The movement of the blade will stop.

Left Tilt

Pull the Dozer Blade joystick to the left (side motion) to lower the left blade corner. Release the joystick. The joystick will return to the HOLD position.

Angle Left

A rocker switch located on the front side of the Dozer blade joystick controls blade angling. Depress the left side of the rocker switch to retract the left end of the Dozer Blade towards the left track.

Angle Right

A rocker switch located on the front side of the Dozer Blade joystick controls blade angling. Depress the right side of the rocker switch to retract the right end of the Dozer Blade towards the right track.
