2.3 TRAVEL CIRCUIT
A. Travel Main Relief Valve Pressure Measurement
1. Perform Machine Preparation Procedures as described in 2.1 MACHINE PREPARATION. 2. Start engine and install special tool (refer to page 5-3 for tool dimensions) into sprocket on each side Of machine for stalling forward motion of Travel Motors. See Figure 2.9.
¯ MAKE CERTAIN SPECIAL TOOL IS SEATED
AGAINST CRAWLER FRAME AND BETWEEN
SPROCKET TEETH. NEVER ALLOW SPECIAL TOOL TO REST AGAINST CRAWLER FRAME CORNER
REINFORCEMENTS. ENGAGE TRAVEL SLOWLY & CAREFULLY UNTIL TOOL IS POSITIONED CORRECTLY SPECIAL TOOL LOCATION FOR REVERSE STALL SPECIAL TOOL LOCATION FOR FORWARD STALL

3. Move throttle control to "HI-IDLE" place KPSS
Mode Switch in "H"-Mode See Figure 2.10. 4. Place Travel Speed Select switch in 2nd (41~) speed position. See Figure 2.10. 5. Operate both Travel controls together to full forward travel position and hold. See Figure 2.11. 6. Record reading from 700kg/cm 2 (10,000 psi)
Pressure Gauges. 7. Reposition special tool in sprockets to stall reverse travel. See Figure 2.9. 8. Repeat steps 3 and 4. 9. Operate both travel controls together to full reverse travel and hold. See figure 2.11, 10. Record reading from 700kg/cm 2 (10,000psi)
Pressure Gauges. 11.Compare readings to chart for specific model being tested on pages 2-15 through 2-22.
B. Travel Main Relief Pressure Adjustment
1. Locate TR1 and TR2 on the main control valve. See Figure 2.12 for SK200~460 example and refer to the Performance Inspection Standard Illustration for the particular machine being adjusted (Pages 2-15--2-22). 2. Loosen lock nuts and adjust each Travel Main Relief until proper pressure is achieved.
NOTE
TR1- Right Travel Main Relief Valve TR2-Left Travel Main Relief Valve 1 Rotation= Approximately 115kg/cm 2 (1640 psi) 1/4 Rotation= Approximately 58kg/cm 2 (825 psi)
3. After adjustment, securely tighten adjusting main
Iocknuts, being careful not to overtighten. SWITCH
