2.7 LOW PRESSURE CIRCUIT
A. Low Pressure Relief Valve Pressure Measurement
WARNING
¯ WHEN PERFORMING THIS TEST, DO NOT OPERATE ANY HYDRAULIC CONTROLSl ¯ ANY MOVEMENT OF HYDRAULIC CONTROLS WILL CAUSE EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO GAUGES!
1. Perform machine preparation procedures as described in 2.1 MACHINE PREPARATION using 105kg/cm 2 (1500 psi) Pressure Gauges in al and a2 Test Ports on P1 and P2 Main
Pumps. 2. Move throttle control to "HI-IDLE," Place KPSS
Mode Switch in "H"-Mode See Figure 2.33. DO
NOT TOUCH HYDRAULIC CONTROLS. 3. Record reading from 105kg/cm ~ (1500 psi)
Pressure Gauges at al and a2 test ports on
P1 and P2 Main Pumps. Reduce engine RPM to "LO" idle. 4. Place KPSS Mode Switch in "D"-Mode and move throttle to "HI-IDLE". See Figure 2.33. DO
NOT TOUCH HYDRAULIC CONTROLS. 5. Record reading from Pressure Gauges at al and a2 test ports on P1 and P2 Main Pumps. 6. Compare readings to proper chart for specific machine being tested.
B. Low Pressure Relief Valve Pressure
Adjustment
1. Should adjustment of the Low Pressure Relief
Valves be necessary, refer to the Shop Manual for the Specific Machine being adjusted.
