2. ADJUSTING THE GRASS LIMIT SENSOR

a. Filler level of container depends on the adjustment of the adjust nut/M8 (2) and adjust bolt/M4 (3).

b. Adjust the filler level of container by the adjust nut/M8 (2) and adjust bolt/M4 (3).

3. INSPECTION BEFORE OPERATION

・Before operating, inspect the points as follows.

(1) Container limit sensor

(2) Adjust nut/M8

(3) Adjust bolt/M4 c. When changing the sensor level to slow, loosen adjust nut/M8 (2), and adjust container limit sensor (1) to downward. d. When changing the sensor level to quick, loosen adjust nut/M8 (2), and adjust container limit sensor (1) to upward. e. Turn the starter switch to ON position. Make sure that full container monitor lamp on monitor lamp array is illuminated when operating the container limit sensor.

(4) Safety switch

a. Park the front mower on level ground. Set the engine speed to approximately 1800 - 2000 RPM. Push the mower PTO switch to ON position, and then lift and dump the container. Make sure that mower PTO and blower PTO will stop automatically by operating the safety switch.

CAUTION: Make sure that mower PTO and blower PTO will stop after 1 second from operating blower shooter switch. Do not approach the mower PTO and blower PTO.

4. CLEANING A COLLECTOR

(1) Rear door (4) Net guide

(2) Rear hook (5) Reflector plate

(3) Container net ASSY (6) Stopper a. If net of container is clogged with grass, the power would go down. Clean the net of container frequently. b. Open rear door (1) and hold it by rear hook (2). Pull out container net ASSY (3) and clean it. c. After cleaning, insert the container net ASSY (3) deeply into stopper (6), along net guide (4). Make sure that reflector plate (5) is towards the rear.

DANGER: If container net ASSY and reflector plate (5) is damaged with hole, there is a danger of shooting objects from rear door (1). Repair the damaged parts immediately.

5. EFFICIENT COLLECTING

IMPORTANT:

・Keep rear net of container clean always.

・When mowing the wet or long grass, filling rate of container would go down. Slow down front mower.

・Adjust the grass limit sensor as necessary a. When it is operated at the place with many twigs, Rops (1) can be folded. b. Lift or dump container (2). c. Loosen Bolt/M16x110 (4), and remove bolt/ M16x30 (3). Rotate ROPS (1) to the rear side of the machine. Fix bolts and nuts firmly.

・Stop operating the front mower as soon as the warning horn sounds and dump grass of container.

DANGER: Discharge grass of container on the level and hard ground.

NOTE : The use of the upper frame can be avoided only when there is no risk at all of rolling-over.

CHAPTER 2. COLLECTOR OPERATION

a. When grass is concentrate at the right side into the container, extend swing rod (1). When grass is concentrated at the left side into the container, shorten swing rod.

b. To adjust the swing rod, remove L bowl (3) from swing plate (2) side, and loosen lock nut of L bowl (3).

b. After adjusting, assemble L bowl (3) and tighten lock nut.

a. When the container is full, mower and blower PTO are stopped, and warning horn sounds.

a. When grass is discharged from the container, be sure to park it on hard, level ground.

DANGER: Do not discharge grass at the slope area because balance cannot be kept when lifting or dumping collector.

CHAPTER 3. INSPECTION AND MAINTAINANCE OF MAJOR PARTS

1. INSPECTION OF HYDRAULIC HOSES

a When operating the collector, be sure to check that hydraulic hose is not pulled and interfered.

b. When the hydraulic hose is damaged, change it as soon as possible.
