GDanger of accidents due to shutdown values having been set too low! When entering the shutdown values, be aware that even after switching off the motor, movement can occur that could bring the load into the shutdown area (e.g. due to load swing or bend of the boom). For this reason, always enter shutdown values that ensure a sufficient and safe distance to the object.
GDanger of accidents because the legally prescribed safety distance was not
observed!
Even when the Working Range Limiter is switched on, always observe all safety distances according to the legal regulations (e.g. concerning electrical overhead cables) valid in the country of operation.
1.2 Scope of Working Range Limiter
Truck cranes that are equipped with a Working Range Limiter have an additional plug-in module in the crane cab. Using the plug-in module, you can set four different limits for the truck crane's working area: –a maximum overall height that cannot be exceeded –a maximum working radius that cannot be exceeded –a maximum permissible slewing angle within which may be operated –the position of individual objects that may not be touched Monitoring of the set shutdown values can be switched on or off individually.
