1.4 Operation of the Working Range Limiter

The Working Range Limiter is operated using the Working Range Limiter plug-in module.

After the ignition is switched on, all monitoring functions are switched on that were on before the ignition was switched off. The indicator lamps (1) of the monitoring functions which were switched on light up.

The set language (2) is shown on the display.

HThe text of the Working Range Limiter can be shown in German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Portuguese, Polish and Russian. In addition, meters or feet can be set as the unit of measurement. The language and the unit of measurement are set at shipment. If you need to change the setting, please contact GROVE Customer Support.

Activating the main menu

The Working Range Limiter display is shown in the main menu. The word SELECTION appears in the top line.

The current overall height (height) of the boom is displayed in the second line.

The current working radius (radius) is displayed in the third line.

The current angle of the superstructure in relation to the carrier is displayed in the fourth line. A displayed angle of 0° means that the superstructure is in working position 0° towards the rear.

The menu shows the current position of the main boom. You can switch from the main menu to the submenus of the various limits by using membrane buttons @ to Ä.

GDanger of accidents due to shutdown values having been set too low! When entering the shutdown values, be aware that even after switching off the motor, movement can occur that could bring the load into the shutdown area (e.g. due to load swing or bend of the boom). For this reason, always enter shutdown values that ensure a sufficient and safe distance to the object.
