Table 43: CAN System TRANSMISSION IO Screen Electrical Control System

•ON/OFF digital electrical reverse direction signal (5VDC ON/OFF) from travel direction switch to MCU.

Drive Reverse

•CAN “Drive Reverse” message output from MCU to display.

•CAN “Rev Lights” message output from MCU to display and TCU.

•ON/OFF digital electrical signal (12VDC ON/OFF) from MCU to backup lights.

•ON/OFF digital electrical High Speed 20/30 SW signal from 3-speed switch on switch panel to MCU.

Travel direction switch (on joystick) reverse position status.

NOTE: Reverse drive is interrupted (and set to neutral) if the parking brake is engaged.

Green

•Travel direction switch (on joystick) is in the reverse position.

•The drive system is engaged in the reverse direction and the backup lights are activated.

•Travel direction switch (on joystick) IS NOT in the reverse position.

Blank

•The drive system is NOT engaged in the reverse direction and the backup lights are deactivated.

Speed 20/30

•When toggled ON, CAN “Speed 20/30” message output from MCU to display.

•When toggled ON, digital electrical output signal (12VDC ON/OFF) from MCU to TCU.

•ON/OFF digital electrical Constant Speed SW signal (12VDC ON/OFF) from constant speed switch on switch panel to MCU.

Constant Speed

•When ON, CAN “Constant Speed” message output from MCU to display.

•When toggled ON, digital electrical output signal (12VDC ON/OFF) from MCU to TCU.

3-speed mode select status. If ON (green), high-speed 030 kph (0-19 mph) 3-speed travel mode is enabled. If OFF (blank), standard 0-20 kph (0-12 mph) high-speed mode is enabled.

NOTE: The indicator light in the 3-speed toggle switch is ON when the switch is in the expanded/3-speed ON position.

Green

3-speed toggle switch (on switch panel) IS in the expanded speed range position (2).

Blank

3-speed toggle switch (on switch panel) IS NOT in the expanded speed range position (1).

Green Constant speed toggle switch (on switch panel) is closed (ON).

Constant speed ON/OFF status; if ON (green), current travel speed is maintained without operator input (analog signal 0-12VDC).

Blank Constant speed toggle switch (on switch panel) is open (OFF).
