The electrical system uses the SAE J1939 standard for Controller Area Network (CAN) communication and diagnostics. A J1939 data port (A, Fig. 274) is provided for computer diagnostic/configuration connectivity. It is located below the right front console inside the ROPS/FOPS.

Service Adapter Harness
Service adapter harness (Fig. 275) [Manitou part # 50291685] is required to connect a computer to CAN system control modules. It provides a connection bridge between J1939 data connector (Fig. 274) and other computer connection harnesses dedicated to specific areas in the CAN system:
MCU/TCU Data Connection Harness
The MCU/TCU data connection (C) allows communication between the Main and Transmission Control Unit modules and a computer, using Danfoss Service Tool (Plus+1) software. Refer to “Danfoss Service Tool (Plus+1) Software” on page266 for information about using the software.
