Function The signal from the cutting floor position sensor (B067) is used to realise the following functions: – Visual and acoustic warning if cutting floor is in status (S). When the cutting floor is open, the symbol (S1) “Cutting floor open” is also displayed.

– Open cutting floor completely for maintenance operations (changing blades, clearing a blockage) – Open cutting floor approx. 4 cm. This can prevent blockages during loading.

– Error message E-02: “Sensor values outside the valid range” – Error message E-12: “Rotary angle signal generator on knife frame mounted incorrectly” – Return to basic settings (initialise). Refer to the document “Supplement to operator's manual 6800 S/P - 4700 S/P ISOBUS”.

Adjustment – – – –

Remove the threaded rod (a).

Open the cutting floor completely.

Adjust the threaded rod (a) to dimension X=171 mm Reassemble the threaded rod (a). In this position check the clearance to the sensor stop, and slightly alter the adjustment of the threaded rod if necessary.

– Check that the cutting floor is functioning correctly.

Function The tractive force sensor (B144) measures the load of the rotor gear = Signal.

The signal from the tractive force sensor (B144) is used to realise the following functions: – Error message E-06: “Torque sensor PTO shaft, values outside the valid range” – Displays the current torque of the rear PTO shaft (M) – Switches the scraper floor drive on/off when automatic filling is activated.

This happens when the drive reaches the adjustable set values (M1 = switch on, M2 = switch off).

For dry products, switching the scraper floor on/off is realised using the roof fill-level sensor (B265). For moist products, however, the load on the rotor gear increases without activating the roof fill-level sensor (B265). In this case, the scraper floor drive is switched on and off using the signal from the tractive force sensor (B144).

Function The signal from the tailgate opening angle sensor (B206) is used to realise the following functions: – Displays whether the tailgate is open or unlocked (H).

– The scraper floor is not switched on until the tailgate is opened.

– When the sensor signal “Tailgate closed” is issued, the solenoid for closing the tailgate is activated and the tailgate is drawn shut by the tailgate hydraulic cylinders (3018).

The solenoid coil for closing the tailgate (Y028) is switched off after 2 seconds in the QUANTUM S.In the QUANTUM P, the solenoid coil for closing the solenoid coil (Y028) is switched off by the 100 % full sensor signal.

– Error message E-03: “Rotary angle signal generator tailgate, values outside the valid range”.

– Error message E-10: “Rotary angle signal generator tailgate mounted incorrectly”.

Adjustment – Close tailgate.

– Remove the threaded rod.

– In the QUANTUM P, set the threaded rod to dimension XP=125 mm and in the QUANTUM S, set the threaded rod to XS=75 mm – Reassemble the threaded rod.

In this position check the clearance to the sensor stop, and slightly alter the adjustment of the threaded rod if necessary.

– Check that the tailgate is functioning correctly.

– Return to basic settings (initialise).

Function The signal from the drawbar position sensor (B264) is used to realise the following functions: – Displays (arrow) direction of movement (D).

– For road travel, the drawbar hydraulic cylinders (3091) move outwards by approx. 2 cm. This provides suspension using the pressure accumulator (5015).

– When switching from the “Road travel” operating mode to the “Load” operating mode, the drawbar hydraulic cylinders (3091) move in and the pick-up is lowered onto the land wheels.

– Error message E-04: “Sensor values outside the valid range” – Error message E-11: “Rotary angle signal generator drawbar mounted incorrectly”
