– Drain the rear axle. – Remove the right-hand rear wheel.

– Disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses and pipes.

Note : It is not necessary to disconnect the braking valve control hose to avoid draining the trailor brake circuit.

– Remove the suction strainer (1). – Unscrew the brake valve screws (4).

– Remove the braking valve (2). – Remove filter (5) and its support.

– Identify and disconnect the solenoid connections. – Undo the screws (3) and remove the RH cover.

removal/refitting the main pump – Remove the screws (7), detach and remove the pump. – When replacing the drive gear, smear the nut with Loctite (243) and tighten it up at a torque of 5 daN.m. – Coat the cover seal face with Loctite (510). – When replacing it, tighten the screws of the pump (7) at a torque of 4 to 5 daN.m.
