Removal of right cover

Make sure that the tractor is securely immobilised.

–Drain the rear axle. –Remove the right-hand rear wheel. –Disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses and pipes.

Note: It is not necessary to disconnect the braking valve control hose to avoid draining the trailor brake circuit.

–Remove the suction strainer (1). –Unscrew the brake valve screws (4). –Remove the braking valve (2). –Remove filter (5) and its support. –Identify and disconnect the solenoid connections. –Undo the screws (3) and remove the RH cover.

removal/refitting the main pump

–Remove the screws(7), detach and remove the pump. –When replacing the drive gear, smear the nut with Loctite(243) and tighten it up at a torque of 5daN.m. –Coat the cover seal face with Loctite(510). –When replacing it, tighten the screws of the pump(7) at a torque of 4 to 5daN.m.
