The operator activates the tiller switch for lifting. The motor starts the pump and the pump draws hydraulic fluid from the tank.

The hydraulic fluid is pressurised.

The pressurised hydraulic fluid flows to the relief valve and through the check valve to the mast cylinder.

The fluid flows through the first magnetic valve (2Y1).

The fluid flows through the flow restrictor back to the tank.
