Shield Water Auto Backflush

Pressing the Enter key on the filter station SCU activates the manual mode and allows each individual solenoid to be activated by scrolling up and down to the desired solenoid and pressing the N-key or P-key to activate either the top or bottom solenoid of the indicated duplex solenoid valve.

To manually operate filter station solenoids press

As an example, the following display allows manual operation of the duplex solenoid that controls the first emulsion filter: 3 8 : E m u l s i o n F i l t e r 1 X - O N Y - O N

Enable / Disable Options

Automatic triggering of the different backflush options can be enable or disabled using the parameters described previously.

Restrictions

The filter station is not subject to the usual restrictions on automatic functions.

Errors

The filter station feature does not generate any special errors.

F i l t e r S t a t i o n P a r a m e t e r s

Filter station parameters and manual trigger lines can be accessed at the filter station by scrolling to the right two times with the Menu Right key and then scrolling down using the Menu Down key.

Emulsion AutoBackflush On, Off

Set to On so that emulsion filters are automatically backflushed if pressure difference across them exceeds the set value.

Emulsion Quickstop Dump On, Off

Set to On so that Quickstop causes mainline pressure to dump by activating all emulsion filter functions in sequence.

Emulsion Press-Diff Trip Point 10-200

Max desired pressure difference across emulsion filters before automatic backflush is triggered.

Emulsion Backflush Valve On Time 0-3000

Time duration that each emulsion backflush solenoid is activated during a backflush sequence (100 means 1 second).

Emulsion Backflush Valve Off Time 0-3000

Time duration between activating emulsion backflush solenoids during a backflush sequence. During this time, no valves are on. (100 means 1 second).
