This feature allows up to 15 shields at the gate end to be readvanced every pass after the conveyor finishes pushing to provide improved roof support if needed. The number of shields that readvance is set by parameters HG Readvance Group and TG Readvance Group in the HG and TG Area Options of the SRB parameters.

SRB is not subject to the standard restrictions; however, the actions that SRB triggers are subject to the restrictions defined for each type of action.

Parameter Summary

Serial Tracking

To run Serial tracking change this value to On. If Manual or Infrared are selected it will change this option to Off.

Infrared Tracking

To run Inrared tracking, change this value to On. If Serial or Manual are selected it will change this option to off.

Manual Tracking

To run Manual tracking, change this value to On. If Infrared or Manual are selected it will change this option to off.

Beginning Shield 1-30

First shield on face that SRB will control.

Ending Shield from TG 1-30

Number of shields from TG that marks last shield that SRB will include. (1 means last shield; 2 means next to last shield, etc.)

Cycle Bidi, Unidi

Toggle between Unidi and Bidi mining cycle.

H->T Asq All, None

Toggle ASQ options for head-to-tail pass.

H->T Push Mode All, None

Toggle push options for head-to-tail pass.

H->T Push Stroke 10-100

Set target push stroke for head-to-tail pass.

H->T Push Trig Shld 1-310

Begin pushing when shearer reaches this shield. Set high to delay push.

H->T Push Reverse On, Off

Reverse the push once the shearer reaches the Trig Shield and follow normally from that point; most useful when H->T Trig Shld is set high.

H>T Push Protection Full, Partial, None

Set level of conveyor protection during SRB push for H->T pass.

T->H Asq All, None

Toggle ASQ options for tail-to-head pass.

T->H Push Mode All, None

Toggle push options for tail-to-head pass.

T->H Push Stroke 10-100

Set target push stroke for tail-to-head pass.

T->H Push Trig Shld 1-310
